"Let's see... We've got plenty of things around that would probably be strong enough to hold it, but too wide to fit through the links. We could try tying them with more rags, but if you could rip those with your hands they probably wouldn't hold. What we need is some sturdy cord or rope..." He looks around, but nothing is readily apparent. "Alright. How about I throw the chain up, then climb up, and then you guys can hold onto the chain while we hoist you up?"

[McDonald]

"I don't really know... Sounded like it came from there."

McDonald points to the door across the minefield, where they came from.

[Zanzetkuken The Great]

"You're right. Arc and Zanz can't do shit with their legs.."

"We could head down that hall for our experience," Zanzetkuken said, pointing to the door on the opposite balcony.  "Only thing we need up there is the werewolf corpse, and we wouldn't be much help with that."

[WillowLuman]

"Actually, my weapons are back in that diner room. I'd really like to pick them up before we open any new doors. Plus, that chess door looked like it might take Arc's scepter."

[Zanzetkuken The Great]

"Still, it would be a pain to try to get either of us down, especially if we need to get to the town."

[WillowLuman]

"True. Maybe we'll loot a ladder or something later. But for now, I could just go get them on my own. SB, ready?"

[SOLDIER First]

SB nods. He braces his lower body against the ledge and reaches down towards Hugo.

[WillowLuman]

HugoLuman grabs his arm and braces against the wall, managing to climb up with SB's help and some struggle. "I need to work on my climbing skills... thanks though. Hope you didn't strain your back or anything." He looks around the room. "Yuck. They've all bled more since we left."

[SOLDIER First]

SB's back snapped in half because Hugo was so fat!
He iz ded. is fine.
"Ew."

He tries not to look at the grisly scene as he crosses the room, and in looking straight ahead notices something else as he reaches the door. The piles of crap in the first room, which they took pains to avoid, had been smashed. A trail of shit-stained footprints led off to the right into the previously unopened door. "Hey guys, someone's been through here!"

[SOLDIER First]

"What a"
SB stares straight at Hugo.
"shitty thing to do."
He then removes his glasses, replaces them on his face, and quietly says, "Yeeeaaah."

[WillowLuman]

(un)fortunately, HugoLuman was too distracted to notice SB's joke. "I'm going to run and get my stuff. Looks like whoever came through here went South, though maybe there's more or they turned around. Still, don't think it would be anyone dangerous."

[SOLDIER First]

SB stops.
"You said south differently than the rest of the sentence."

"Did I? Well, that's the way the footprints go, at least as far as I can tell." He crosses the room to the door of the oni room. "Jeez, it's like someone was trying to loot these piles of shit."

"So, guys. Do we check out the creepy noises or go talk to the nice space marines?"
