(Doesn't look like anyone's there right now. Except maybe smurfington, who seems not to be responding.)
(You can open up a new room, just choose one of the "unknown" ones on the map. Just bear in mind your character would probably notice stuff in the other rooms on the way there.)

Gate

Another flare occured at the gate, and Zanzetkuken arrived.  The aura was still present, but after 10 seconds faded to nothing, and she became animate once again.  "Well that was...different," she said.

"Oh hey, you're back. Looks like your fast-travel started working already. What happened to your friends?"

(Hey, Cryxis, you may want to slow down on the posting. I'm afraid you're in an inactive area. Most of the players seem to be inactive. I'd recommend going to bed and seeing who replies, that's what I do when things start going slow in an RP.)

(Yeah, just remember the rules. Right now the rooms would all be relatively low-level, so keep that in mind for the threats inside. Once inside, can't leave until the room is solved or you die, everyone in the room when it gets solved gets 1xp. There can be loot but, again, keep in mind low-level. I'm the quasi-GM, so pm me with questions about stuff.)
(Depending on what fork you open a room from, you may have some reading to do on the rooms between, but I could give you cliff-notes.)

Zanzetkuken jumped at the sudden voice, before calming down.  "Sorry, was a bit preoccupied," she rapidly stuttered out to explain why she had jumped.  "We, uh, didn't know what the, uh, fast-travel was, so I, um, tested it to, uh, test if it was safe."

(You might want to just stick with that other group for now, so you can get your level up easier, and so you can interact with fellow 'new' players.  Besides, the character is supposed to be you.  Would you really leave behind a group in real life and go off on your own in a highly dangerous place where you will likely die?)

The guard lady with the shotgun laughs. "Yeah, it's safe. Just don't expect to jump to anywhere within town. Someone a while back figured out how to block it, so we don't have to deal with the bad eggs popping in unannounced. There aren't many, but they are pretty bad."

"How did he, or it might be she, get that name?  And what level is he...she...it...whatever?"

"Maurice is big trouble. We don't know what level he is, but we presume 'high.' Through some combination of class abilities, magic items, and altering himself with potions and things, he's become incredibly powerful. And, from what we can tell, completely insane."

**Hi. Apparently the wrist thing lets you warp around. Zanz either teleported to the town gate using that or vaporized into thousands of subatomic particles failing to do so.**
