Appearance: Male, early teens, wears glasses, is an albino.
Inventory: White business suit, black boots. Tie is excluded from said suit. Has glasses.

(Checking back, it seems Blitz had the anti-dragon dagger when he died, so that's in there somewhere.)

Immediately visible amidst all the blood and gore in the room (aside from the items on the remains of BlitzDungeoneer's former body) are a bundle of 3 metal arrows, a scratched-up wooden rifle stock, a short shovel, and a 3-foot copper tube.

Meanwhile...

Someone places their hand on kyle's shoulder. "Hey kid, you drunk?"

[Fniff]

Head Room
Fniff looks at the metal arrows, the rifle stock, the shovel, and the tube...

"Hey, I see the ingredients for a pretty good crossbow!" he says, then rushes over. He gingerly picks up the ingredients and tries not to look at the gore. It's strange, it's like a switch just flicked. He begins to tinker and attach the objects to each other, resulting in...

[2+1] Fniff getting an arrow stuck through his hand.

"OW OW OW OW!" he yells. [20] He removes it, without much bleeding at all. Then he places the bloodstained arrow into the contraption he has made. It begins to glow red.

"... Oh hey, blood sacrifice," he says. His eyes widen. "Shit, did I just do a demonic ritual by accident?"

(Let's see. Arrows for ammo, shovel for body, tube for barrel, and stock for... stock. you can decide the demonic effect but part of it probably includes firing without a string.)

(Since it doesn't have a prod (crossbar), the fact that it fires seems plenty demonic for a 1st-level craftithing. Also, blood-powered MacGuyvering is a cool idea.)

(Well, you did snatch up 3/4 of the readily visible loot, so taking all of it probably needs some IC discussion. Also, you guys feel free to turn up a few more items if you search the room more.)

(Here's the system I use, based off a freeform gaming group I used to play in.)

1-3: Total failure.
4-7: Bad failure. You missed the mark.
8-10: Minor failure. You didn't do as well as you would have wanted.
11-13: Minor success. You did okay.
14-17: Good success. You did what was required.
18-20: Total success. You fulfilled your objective and more.

"So, how do you even fire this? There isn't a mechanism to shoot--" the crossbow suddenly fires an arrow [17] right into the wall. He walks over and pulls it out, looking rather embarrassed. "Okay, so no-one say the ess word."
