"Sorry, I just have hang-ups about winding up late. Oh! Um, if this werewolf changed back to human, say, half an hour ago, how long before the next change?"

"No idea. These thing vary from person to person. I'd give it at least another hour, though."

"Oh... well, thanks again. See ya." They left the shop, and HugoLuman looked at SB. "So, shopping, I guess?"

[SOLDIER First]

"Damn strai-- wait.
We don't have any money."

[WillowLuman]

HugoLuman stood there with his hand raised and his mouth open for a second. "...that's a good point. And we don't have much to trade. Windowshopping, then?"

[SOLDIER First]

"Sure.

"None of us know, so far, least of all me. Presumably we were sent to entertain some higher power who decided to amuse him or herself by sending random people into a fantasy world."

"I suppose it might be worth a bit. Isn't that your ammo, though?"

"Hey, what are your names? I'm... I'm... McDonald. For some reason I can't remember my real name. I'll go with my Bay12 nick."

[SOLDIER First]

SB shrugs.
"I can always use other kinds of pellets. Or rocks, or something.
If we have to trade I'll only give them a few, anyway."

[WillowLuman]

"Well, I could really use some new shoes, but... we should probably make sure. Can you try shooting this pebble right now?"

[SOLDIER First]

SB picks up the pebble, inspects it, and removes his gun from his back, emptying the chamber of BB's.
He loads the pebble in, cocks the gun, and fires at the ground several feet away.
The pebble flies fairly straight.

"Think that would still be lethal? Or, at least as damaging as a metal BB?"

[SOLDIER First]

"Probably less lethal; they're not as aerodynamic and certainly not as heavy, but they'll do if we give away all my ammo for gloves or something."

[WillowLuman]

"Much as I could use something on my feet, I don't know about giving away your ammo for it. But I guess I can't stop you from getting something for yourself."
