"He would be weirded out by petting. Well, if he was in his full faculties, but who knows if it would still make him uncomfortable in this state. The main things freaking him out seem to be the pain, and being unable to move while being surrounded by what he thinks are threats. Which those two over there might be." Seriously, you need to back off. We're having a bit of a situation here. "The more he moves, the more he hurts, and the more he hurts, the more he moves. I don't think logic is much in his brain at the moment. We may just need to wait for him to wear himself out."

**Earlier, using my Aid ability on his Animal Empathy seemed to help him keep control. I'll try doing that again.**

Arcvasti points the scepter at Hugo, the end glows with a soft gray light and then he steps back, as the bird ordered.
