Omeganaut follows the group in.  He also heads behind the bar, searching for something.  (12)  He pulls out a large plastic bottle.  "Sprite!  Just the thing for adventure.  Unfortunately, I only found the one."

"I don't suppose you'd want to split it?" HugoLuman never thought he'd see sprite again.

Check the trapdoor.

"Alright, let's have a look." He wedges the axe handle through the handle and pries open the door, with some effort. It opens into a rusted metal stairway going into pitch blackness. The dusty stench of old decay billows up from the darkness below, stronger than ever. "Ugh! I really hope that's just the bar's supply of food."

Purrhaps investigation is in order?

HugoLuman didn't get any feeling of imminent threat from his danger sense, but his common sense found it pretty ominous. "I guess, if something's gone undisturbed long enough to rot, it means the cats had no way of getting to it, at least..." He gazes down the ladder, unable to tell where the bottom is. "Alright, I'll continue taking point, then. Could someone shine a light down there? Or lend me one, at least?"

Kevak takes his light out and shines it down the hole.

The first noticeable thing are several fairly old looking skeletons and lots of dried blood.

"...Shit. Definitely was not food. Human remains. Lots of human remains."
"Just climb down, you baby. If they were a threat we'd have felt it."
HugoLuman felt like saying something defensive, but he decided there wasn't much point. Horrific and disgusting is it was, he knew there probably was something worth investigating down there. Morbid curiosity, don't screw me like you have so many times before... He slowly climbed down.

As you climb down, you see there are a good number of skeletal corpses laying against the walls and sprawled across the floor. In the middle of one wall, is a fairly large hole, a person could walk through it. Looks like someone dug a tunnel.

The dusty, sour stench permeated the air, causing HugoLuman to nearly choke on his breath. "Oh god... it's fucking awful down here!" he called up. "I see a tunnel through one of the walls!"

[Prophet]

I don't think going through the tunnel is a good idea. If my warning is ignored and we ended up like the movie Descent I will never let any of you guys forget it.

Dangersense?

HugoLuman walks towards the tunnel, spear raised, but he gets no feeling near the entrance. "Nope. But I have to be honest, I do not like the idea of going in there."

Perhaps he had not heard. "There's a tunnel down in this basement, Iton. And entirely too much dried blood and human skeletons," HugoLuman called up. "Kevak? Omega? One of you want to come down here and shine a light down this tunnel? I understand if you don't."

No danger sense means it should be fine.

Kevak slides down the ladder and shines the light down the tunnel.

Cobwebs and the occasional emancipated skeleton are visable until the tunnel abruptly turns to the right several meters from the entrance.

[Prophet]

If anything attacks senpai I must help him!  Prophet follows Kevak down.
