Overworld: Amnesia Stream

Propman stops upon hearing growling. A wild dog comes charging at the pirate, prompting him to pull out his gun and attempt to fire. [5] Unfortunately, the earlier fall must have jammed it for the moment, as it would not go off despite the trigger clicking, and he was quite sure it wasn't on safety. As the beast got closer, he could see its features with terrifying clarity. It was similar to a wolf in general appearance, but was far, far larger; The size of a mastiff, and it was but an arm's length away from chomping down on him.

Propman decided to put his new ability to the test, concentrating and making a palm-thrusting motion as the air started to thicken and a cloud of mist was drawn. [7] This did little to phase the creature, who used its other senses in order to lock onto the pirate, and struck out against him, fangs barred. [14] Propman dodged the creature and instinctively grabbed for his letter opener [9+2-1] which he sunk into the dog's side, drawing blood, but not enough to make it even flinch.

[7+3] The dog retaliated, managing to bite into his shirt, though the gauntlet in tandem with the shirt's loose design meant it didn't puncture any skin.

[17+2-1] Propman drove the dagger deep into the beast's head, causing it to yelp in pain as the mortal wound made it to let go, spasming on the ground as its body shook out of control. The pirate took his gun and attempted to pistol whip the creature to put it out of its misery, [5-1], but he missed. [12-1] A second attempt made contact, but served only to bruise its side. [16-1] A third attempt was more successful, and the dog finally stopped moving.

Propman pulled his now bloodied letter opener out of the beast's skull, and cleaned it off in the stream. The white sleeve of his arm was now stained with dog's blood, causing him to frown. [20] His frown turned into a curious expression as he noticed something shining near the corpse of the creature.

No less then five potions were underneath the beast's side. Did the beast just drop these? Regardless of circumstances, Propman knew he needed all the resources he could get his hands on, and he gingerly put the vials into his bag to store with the rest.

[SOLDIER First]

The J-Bot [11] sweeps SB' legs out from underneath him and begins to kick him in the chest, while the Twin-bots [14] reach and whale on Hugo.

[~Neri]

Kevak drops to the ground and kicks out [15] Smashing the dwarf in the chest and knocking it back before grabbing a severed coglimb and bringing it down [15] on the dwarf's skull, shattering both the limb and the skull. He grabs one of the dwarf's pickaxes and throws it at the behemoth [1] it completely misses and hits the far wall.

[WillowLuman]

"What-" smack! "The hell-" smack "are you-" smack "even-" smack "supposed to be!?"

[Prophet]

Prophet gets up. Prophet Runs over to SB. Prophet charges at J-bot. (14) J-bot falls to the ground. Prophet Kicks at J-bot's head. (4) Prophet trips on the bots head.

[SOLDIER First]

"I'm him, five years younger," says the younger-looking one.
"What he said." says the older-looking one. They're very calm, for people double beating-on someone.

[~Neri]

Kevak finds his pickaxe and charges the behemoth, [16] [13] [14] smashing the pickaxe into its leg and toppling it to the ground before swinging down at the head, partly cracking it, seeing it still moving, he makes a followup swing and shatters it.

[Prophet]

Prophet sheaths his sword then rolls on top of J-bot. Prophet punches at J-bots head. (10) He hits the floor next to the bot's head.

[SOLDIER First]

J-Bot quickly jumps to its feet and swings at Prophet, [9] catching his nose with he edge of its fist.

[Prophet]

Prophet swings at J-bot (15) Hitting the bot straight in the face.

[WillowLuman]

((Yeah, though you might want to think of some more variety in the failures. Constant tripping can get a bit ridiculous.))

Getting a moment's opportunity, HugoLuman kicks one of the twins away, before backstepping and elbow-slamming the other, using his superior weight to press through the defense. The twin's face is smashed but the bot isn't disabled. Hugo fixes this with a punch, bloodying his fist "Gah! These fuckers hurt to hit! SB, where's the axe!?"

[Prophet]

Prophet tackles at J-bot. (1) Prophet misses the bot and crashes to the floor.

[SOLDIER First]

[14] Fortunately for Hugo, the axe is between the older Twin-Bot's knee and its upper leg. [1] Unfortunatey for Hugo, the axe is quickly between his foot and the floor, tripping him and slamming his head into the ground.

The J-Bot takes this opportunity to begin whaling on Prophet.

Propman stopped as he noticed something hiding behind a tree. He readied his gun, momentarily checking to see it was in proper order, and attempted to strafe the figure. It appeared to be a jack-o-lantern-like creature, moving around on six squirming, wormy vines, with a menacing flame present inside of its grotesque mouth. [19] Propman shot the creature square in the center before it managed to properly react, pieing it with minimal effort. A loud *BLAM* echoed across the area, causing a couple birds to fly out of a tree.

[3] The pumpkin had no loot on it; The candle inside was destroyed with the rest of the creature, and he neither wanted to carry nor thought the remains were of any use to lug around.

"Crikey. Overworld encounters are the worse."

[WillowLuman]

HugoLuman grabs the twinbot by the leg, rolling over to pull it to the floor with him. (9) This catches the bot by surprise, and it smacks sideways into the floor.
