This unit palette somehow reminds me of Starbound and other modern games. Nice work.
Also it's good to hear that there are people interested in reviving old unsupported graphic sets

These are nice!
Just a heads up, the graphic for Yeti seems to be missing from the relevant png file.

I like the cut of your jib. Keep up the good work! I didn't think good graphics sets were possible at 12x12. Pity my set is 10x10 and not 12x12, or I might try using both.

Ah, thanks. I had to do a bit of tweaking since I had a few issues with a few tiles, but now I'm happy and have never had DF look so good.
Some pictures.

Thanks Burned for the tileset! I especially like your plants tiles. Just like Freak2121 I will edit a few tile but the 24x24 version of Coaldiamond's work is very welcome.

I am happy you guys are enjoying them.

After speaking with fricy, I wanted to reiterate that the raw files are optional; the graphic set works without them. And please, don't use the raws on a game currently in progress! You'd need to generate a new world in order for them to work.

@goddosupido The creature graphics were created with Markavian's edited tileset in mind, but as crapabear and Freak2121 have displayed they should work with any 12x12 or 24x24 ASCII tileset. Always, use a tileset that suits your preference, right?

The wiki has a lot of 12x12 sets, but not many 24x24. Although you could just double the size of any of those listed. As long as you use the init settings mentioned in the bfx_readme.txt you can avoid any distortion at 24x24.

As noted before, the graphic set will work from version to version without any changes; there is no need to download the set every time a new version of DF is released (unless you use the optional raws which can change depending on the update). So I've just been silently updating the file as needed in the OP without bumping the thread.

With that in mind, I did recently make a few changes to the graphics_burned_fx.txt to incorporate the new gelder profession. Nothing fancy, since I just directed it towards the same creature graphic as the butcher for dwarf, human and goblin respectively. I also added an additional color scheme that I have been using recently. It's based off of Vherid's "Bone" color scheme with a few alterations.

As an aside, I haven't changed my color scheme in years! So thanks crapabear and Freak2121 for nudging me with your screen shots to check those color schemes out.

My life is complete, this is awesome.

The only caveat is that customised graphics look completely awesome, but they do so at the expense of readability, especially for certain small critters.  Argh... choices... choices....

Edit; :o complete & detailed installation instructions. tqvm
