Another image - a screw. You beginning to think that the book is screwing you with these useless words.

And one last image - an ordinary hammer.
Avery sighed in relief that the spell did not summon the sword that stabbed him in the neck. He then panics as he realizes that that spell did nothing at all! He then looked back at the page and said a random word. "Vur!" He shouts, testing his luck yet again as his panic stricken mind attempts a spell.

Feels like multiple somethings were formed and fired forward. A bit like a shotgun blast, you think.
Mark points his finger at the ground and lets the magic dissipate.
"A truce then, wasn't precisely sure if the spell would work right anyway."
Mark moves his finger a bit upwards away from him and mumbles some words.

You point away somewhere and end up summoning a pile of wood, floating in the air, in front of you. Looks like the pointing did nothing.

Go help Redz! Chop off his zombie arm and kick it away.

Fake!Derm suddenly rushes in to help out the guy with the arm that wants to kill him and cuts into it. The blade stops for a second, but it's not hard to cut through the dead flesh. He then kicks the still flailing arm into the Pit. With the threat gone (and the guy he saved bleeding all over the floor), he begins some !!Science!!. But seriously, someone give Redz a hand. The floor will be red otherwise.

Seeing that some random stranger cut off his arm to help him, Redz goes on to do the thing that he wanted to do. What was it though? All this blood loss is making it hard to remember.
Nile sees Redz bleeding all over the floor, but that's not his problem. He just wanted to rip his arm off. Might as well do some scienceing.
