Look around. "huh, seems like no one's near me. Well, let's try saying something out of this weird book." Say some words (using one pool on each), and pick up the result if it doesn't seem immediately dangerous.

Well, looks like you're in some big, circular room. On some kind of platform on the second floor. It does appear that you're alone here. For now at least, since you hear sounds of what appears to be fighting from both exits.

In this system, you have full pool every turn (unless you have some sort of debuff.)

PS GM: Shouldn't my gun <3 dispenser be loaded? Also, I'm apparently still in the Grand Hall.
You take a look at your <3 dispenser and find it to be loaded after all. You think you just heard something grumble about "copying the wrong sheet".

Fake!Derm once again moves first. Surprisingly, he does not charge in with another swing at Li. Instead he turns so that his left side points at his prey and makes a [4] somewhat sexy pose. Oh, and then he says some words.

A crystal spear launches from Fake!Derm's left shoulder. Li, who didn't expect to be attacked in such a way (not to mention being distracted by sexiness (and the bleeding)), doesn't manage to move until it is too late. The spear rips a large hole in his head. The body is launched a few meters back, propelled by the force of the weapon.
Li is dead.His corpse turns into the familiar white mist, which once again empowers Fake!Derm.
Mask, who was watching the gory spectacle, tries another spell. So he points at Fake!Derm's
halberd and says his words.
