Probrably a bit over reacting to the soul, Gigas runs off to acquire more... someplace his only useful known spell can be most effective.

Gigas, feeling the murderous intents of Beirus, reacts immediately and casts a spell.

Which proves perilous for him, as a blast of force launches him off the platform. He strikes the ground partially with his head. He managed to not break his bones, but his head and chest hurt quite a bit.

Both of them move at the same time, EOA trying to bite at Hregar, the other attempting to whack his opponent in the head with his long, hard rod. Hregar manages to shift away from the bite, but that causes his swing to be much weaker than he expected. Sure, he manages to connect, but it's more painful than damaging.
