Yeah, I tried to join earlier and was welcomed by a "server has closed" before I even got there. I don't know how to do it, but I'm pretty sure the golem has to be deleted from the world before anyone can enter that chunk.

Same crash happened again. Please don't try to empty the ocean. For that matter, please don't try to empty anything larger than a vanilla lake.

Server is up again, for real this time. I may have forgotten to actually click the restart button last time.

EDIT: Huh. Yeah, that could be a problem.

EDITEDIT: I shall stop the server for a moment and mess with the chunk data to delete the offending golem. Please stand by.

In other news, I've made a small jump in tech progress - i made my first two Tesseracts. Feels good. Also Sky told me about Fillers and their ability to mine out a defined area of land easily. I'm now using it for knocking out the mountain.

Lastly, a goods railway I'm building to dump stuff at HugoLuman's is nearing completion. The tunnel's about 75% dug, and the track about 40% laid. When it's completed, a Steve's cart chest/coal cart with an anchor cart attached will drop off items at Hugo's on his request, and vice versa.

So uh I was popping in here to see what was up. Last server I played on went down and I was wondering what was going on here. I read the last couple pages to see the world was broken due to someone demanding a golem eat a whole ocean.

Seems like a bay12 server to me.

Check the first post. The latest modpack version is 2.3.5 or so, but the server is still on version 2.2.2.

After being ora ora'd to death from full health in armor by lag-empowered zombies without the chance to fight back one too many times, I've decided not to leave my house and just keep building it. Though I might need to borrow some netherrack to make a blast furnace.

Though I think preventing hostile mobs from spawning might also help with lag.
