If you actually have more than 8 GB of ram, go to the launcher and find the part that lets you allocate 4 to FTB.

If you don't, buy more ram.

While it depends on how old your computer is, I think you could always swap out a lower ram card for a higher one. Eg, 4x2GB -> 3x2GB + 1x4GB would have increased your ram by 2GB.

I have a i3 Laptop with 4 GB Ram... Every other mod pack has worked. Can't really get more RAM.

It is likely it is too old to play it - my old laptop with 8GB RAM would regularly use 2.5-3GB+ on the Dark Trilogy server for minecraft.

That's fine I guess. I just like how it adds all kinds of alloys it allows for TiC,
with a certain addon to allow that of course.

But I was really hoping for Flaxbeard's mod.

Guys, I know that my house is somehow a shared resource area now, and you guys can always take some of the stuff I have enough of and use the machines and so on, but it's not okay to take the rare stuff like ender pearls. Someone took all my ender pearls. Do you know how annoying it is to get ender pearls? Yes, because otherwise you would have gotten your own. Now I have to get more ender pearls the hard way. Not okay, guys.

I mostly just try to dump stuff in there. I think so far my net there is:

+2 iron
+1 bronze
+1 tin
+1 copper
-1 soybean
+16 gold
+2 diamond
whatever else I dumped into a chest before I left

I also try to put charcoal into the steam dynamo whenever possible, especially since I've been using a lot of power (I made two stacks of sand recently)

Since I got that crossbow and a good set of armor, I'll probably try to get more mob stuff (even stuff I don't need) in there. Blaze rods etc.

I used one of the pearls, but certainly not all of them. I've just used a lot of iron from there, mostly.
