gregtech has thousands of items. A lot of them are ores of every type, like Iron Ore In Granite, Iron Ore In Limestone, Iron Ore In Basalt etc. I would hate to craft gtech stuff manually but it seems interesting for an ME system.

Gregtech crafting is ic2 taken to the extreme. If it's simply ingots->Circuit->Adv circuit->machine in ic2, gregtech is like

Ingots+Cutter->Pins
Blank Silicon Mask->Circuit Mask+Etched Circuit->Circuit
Acid+Circuit Mask+Ingot->Etched Circuit
Raw Silicon->SemiProcessed Silicon->Unformed Silicon->Blank Silicon Mask
Ore->Crushed Ore->Washed Ore->Ingot

And so on.

The storage room (which has a travel anchor). It's the one with 14 or so DSUs already installed. Using differently colored smart cables means you can insteall about 8 more DSUs before having to make a separate room.

current progress on the castle:  outer wall is partly done.  planning on this being the courtyard,  I have little idea how to make a castle look good though

oooh... It could be cool to have arenas like that. Maybe even a large elevated platform with paper frypans with all 3 mods and knockback for funsies.

I am of the opinion that all weapons and armor have to be provided. Otherwise there will be that one guy (or me) with full Protection 4 diamond armor :P
