Huh. I can log on now. I can't really see what changed, but whatever.

Also, I do believe I accidentally used the 'brain in a jar' research I was planning on coping for the library. If anyone would be so kind as to leave a copy hanging in the library, I would be in your debt.

Reudh: Just finished digging the tunnel up to SkyWeb's place.
Spoiler: The turtle tunnels (click to show/hide)
Goes from Shin's place down south, connecting to the turtle mountain and passing nearby Nightscar's place. The east branch connects to the rail tunnels (which run parallel, a few blocks below the main tunnel), then runs north.

Strange. Shortly after the server restart at 6pm KST, the server shut down again. :S

Server down, I repeat, server down!

So, in the meantime, screenshots party!

An old screenshot from when McFry invoked a whole demon village:

Missing chunks sometimes make for nice screenshots. Here's a cross-section of my house:

I finished building the museum last week-end:

I built a train station at spawn, and I also repaired spawn house which burned down because of a chimney fire accident:

Whole high res album

I guess something is weird with the server.
Unusually laggy, not ping wise and it went down again.
"Server closed" message when i got disconnected

Though I don't have pictures, my recent news is:

(1) Attempting to breed Pink bees en masse to power something off the sheer force of pinkness. Maybe I'll run ny quarry off it, hehe.

(2) Moving my ME system to Sky Tower. I will finally be able to expand it and add a provider pipe thing, along with increasing throughput with multiple machines connected per interface.

That's bout it.

Yeah, I'm unable to connect with timeout errors - it's not my side, i know that much.

Okay, I should probably mention that I've been fighting to get the server up for a long time now. Here's what's currently going on: Initially, the server crashed because there was a corrupted chunk or a broken session lock or something. I restarted it a couple of times, but it always crashed again after a couple of minutes of someone being on. I can't tell you the exact details, because I couldn't get an error log because I couldn't get proper SFTP access. After a while, everything got worse, because I couldn't even access the CreeperHost control panel anymore. Currently I can access the panel, but the server seems to have forgotten it is a Minecraft server, and I can't do anything Minecraft-related anymore, not even remotely access it. So I sent a ticket and am waiting for a response.

EDIT: Apparently the ticket isn't even sending, because it is trying to gather log files from my server, which it can't access because it isn't online. Screw this.
EDITEDIT: So the ticket did actually send, and I got a response immediately. Server's working now.
EDITEDITEDIT: Oh wait it's not. There's still the corrupted chunk. Need to fix that somehow.
EDITx4COMBO: "[Server thread/ERROR]: We were unable to save this crash report to disk." Yes fuck you too.

I wonder if it could be possible to host a Minecraft server on a regular, generic VPS, instead of a Minecraft host like creeperhost. What are the advantages of Creeperhost over VPSes?

Creeperhost has a really nice browser-based dashboard that displays a running server log, lets you shutdown and restart the server, plus a nice installer and config editor. Also they have great tech support. Also their servers are better suited to being Minecraft servers than your usual VPS, for the same price.

Alright, I fixed it, it seems to be working fine now. Tell me if it crashes again.

I saw it online for a moment, got connection refused error and restarted the client to see if it was just me.
Then it seemed to be offline again
