I'll ask around among the goblins to see if any of them have any experience training wild animals, if there is one and he can be freed from his duties I will take him with me to help. If none of them have experience or I can't find a free enough one that does I will take one of the gathering goblins as a assistant. Then I will start trying to tame the bear cubs, or at least make them more comfortable around myself and the goblins. Feeding them meat and getting them used to my presence and such.

I will examine Alexs undead, trying to figure out how it's magic works and differs from mine, and what happens when I mix my magic with it's magic. Also I'll pray to the gods for guidance about these creatures.

If I still have free time, I'll go hunting sometimes to try to build up more food stocks.

Kill the rat by holding it's throat so that it stops breathing and dies, and then revive it. Use it to scout out this castle while under my direct control.

Dragostov takes the map, gives it a quick once over, and passes it to Alex. Then, noticing that she is waiting for orders, decides to give some.

"Follow the stream that I train the soldiers at, see what it drains into. We need to relocate, and if you can find us a good spot to live on a river, lake, or sea, we can survive by fishing for a time if we need too. Room for expansion and defensive positioning are what I value most in a home, but I will consider anything better than this."

He then turns to Alex. "I have a long term project for you to complete at your own pace. Take this map, and explore every town on it; Either by personal visit, or remote undead. I need to know if any Goblin Prisoners are being kept alive in this area; or if any library or archive exists that might contain the stolen secrets of goblin reproduction. If we cannot find somebody who knows how to make and run spawning pits, or instructions on how to do so ourselves, our only hope of increasing our population is for you or Tez to figure it out by trial and error..."

The Chieftain shuddered at that thought. Lots of goblins would be chopped up in fruitless experimentation if they had to go that route.

"I am wonder at need to move our nest?! Although human man made building awful next to high roost of darkness made by goblin mans! It seems more likely that this is the best nest within distance of slave goblin feet! And Tezcatlipoca feet for that matter! What is Goblin chieftain mans plan! Not today plan! But this moons plan! Next time the cold comes plan! When the children have children plan! Running away forever?! Turning goblin to fish and hunt with rock?! If we were to take human building mans and make them turn this into proper dark roost that would be easier and better likely for defending! Issue remaining is food for goblin men! Finding greater amounts by hook and by rock is Pointless!"

At this point Tez stands up straighter and starts agitatedly moving around.

"Human town! Elven trees! Dwarfish halls! This is where the proper place for food is found!

Humans weak! Elves weak! Dwarfs weak! Caused by farming! Caused by fishing! Even the hunter is not the warrior! All are weak! But all make food! Goblins are not weak! But they not make food! When making food! Goblins are weak! Goblins can not feed armies! Goblin can not feed Goblin! Tezcatlipoca lowers himself to feed goblin! But not for life! And not for many! Retreating from food will never find food! Goblins are worthless for anything but kill and die!

Tez calms down somewhat, and eyes Dragostov warily.

"Not all goblins. And not all humans. But. This tribe is not large enough to waste possible warriors on food. Originally Tezcatlipoca saw that no goblins in this tribe other then the Chieftain man were warriors! I saw that taking food was not something Goblin men could do. Tezcatlipoca and those who would not be as good warriors hunted so that those that would be best warriors could become warriors! I was think that we would then Take for food, and all goblins could be warriors! But plans to run away...

Tezcatlipoca is worried."

"If we can't find the secrets we need, we might try that, but our numbers are too low for us to be experimenting on goblins needlessly."

Take the soldiers out for some more training. With the healer around, weapon training is back on the table for the grunts.

Work with the Lightning Warriors to try and develop a non-lethal stun-bolt spell. Ideally we want to take some skilled laborers alive.

"Right now we have 30 Goblins, and no way to make more. Until we figure that out, we cannot survive solely or even mostly on raiding. Even the strongest warrior who is most loved by the gods can still die. We cannot afford our goblins dying until we can replace them."

He offers the Shaman a sad smile. "I told Alex to look for imprisoned goblins who might know how to make more goblins, or for places where humans keep stolen secrets. If he finds either of those things, we will raid to take them. If he does not, it will fall to you and him to figure out how to make new goblins. The old way involves tearing a goblin up, and using magic I do not understand to grow new goblins from the pieces in a pit; You may have to kill many goblins before you figure out how to do that. We must keep as many goblins as possible alive now, so we don't run out then."

Dragostov draws his weapon and holds it up for all to see. "We will return to the proper way of living in good time, and we may even use this place again as a staging area for raids! I promise that! The day we make new goblins is the day we start painting these lands red with the blood of elves and humans! But we must survive until that day, so until then we raid only to take very important things or as a very special treat."

"Goblin men breed by cutting magic pit?!? Goblins crazy! Why not eggs like normal mans?!? Skree! What about dead goblin man that ratlizard man made with poisons?! Should me and undead making human man try to make that one a mother?"
