Who would be interested in a forum game which has the same mechanics as this, but is set in Mengalir's past (before the golden age of walled off monsters and etcera.) And has a wider choice for races and has a class system?

You just want to get out out of the mess you made with airships, but I am interested.

I am willing to have airship combat skipped for the most part, and only handle situations such as boarding.

"Ah. Well then, thanks a BILLION, mister! When I get around to writing books of my own, I'll have to dedicate one to you. But for now, it's time to test this thing out."

Head to the docks, and see if there's a ship heading out that's willing to let me tag along and identify things.

My boredom is probably caused by a conspiracy by the Forumers to get me to update since I have nothing to do.

Diagonally step over the remains of a golem and try to cut the gun off of the jailmaster golem.

In the future kindly use one of these for movement.

NW  N   NE

W    @    E

SW  S   SE

(20) You make a flying leap over the Jailmaster and completely destroy the gun causing ammo explosions inside the Golem, it draws a pair of axes and starts turning around.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Grab my personal belongings, say goodbye to people, and head off to the docks.
You go off to the docks, the Marauder's Hammer could be less described as a airship and more as a heavily armed flying barge, while in theory the large amount of guns and redundant systems mean it would take a lot to take it down, in practice it's a big slow moving target.

Look for any ship seeking an onboard doctor for their expedition
You see a giant ship which appears to be openly recruiting anyone vaguely competent for it's crew, such a ship would surely need a doctor, but it would be risky since they are common targets for pirates and are take long enough to get anywhere that at least one dragon attack is guaranteed.

Go to the ship and chat with the crew, make friends.
(12+2) You board the ship, the majority of the crew likes you but they won't be jumping through fire for you.

You see a giant ship, blah blah blah, too lazy to do alternate description.

The captain personally welcomes you.
Welcome, anyone can shoot a gun but it's nice to see at least some people who know what they are doing, maybe you can teach some of the more inexperienced crewmembers how to operate a engine without blowing it up! Well make yourself comfortable.
He then walks off towards his cabin.

The bartender comes over turns you around and starts nudging you towards the door.
I think you've had a bit too much to drink, why don't you just go home?
Unfortunately no one goes to pubs for water.

Sorry for blurry text but I've more or less ran out of color's and glow's.

Nrmpf...suffering forum withdrawal...need to post something....

Try to cut off the golem's arms and ram my sword through its head.
(13+1-3) The sword only chip's it's thick steel armor.

(18) You dodge under it's strike, it's off balance.

Scovel breaks the prison bars, you figure he'd have been weakening them during his time here, he grabs one of the bars and holds it as a staff.
"Need a bit of help there?"
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Oh, sorry. Xcom...

Ask the shipmaster if he needs a hunter from the guild.
You find the captain's second in command.
"Hrm? Oh the guildmaster mentioned you, head to the hunter's quarters and make yourself comfortable, we'll embark soon."

((I have nothing to do, currently. GM, introduce something to me or something.))

"You know, there's a ship going out soon, Marauder's Hammer I believe it's called, you look like the type who might want to tag along."
He looks at you with some amusement in his eyes.
Who know's, might do your body some good.

Look around the ship.
There's two crew quarters, the hunters quarters and the sailors quarters, the hunters quarters are much higher quality and are reserved for those who actually know what they are doing, while the sailors quarters are for any rabble off the street who wants to come along for any reason, since you were assigned by the guildmaster, thankfully you are in the hunters quarters.
There's also the various gunner positions which are populated by harpoon guns and in some cases, cannons.
There's the armory where people can arm themselves with various swords, spears, and guns.
There's the somewhat obsolete crow's nest, but at least people can spend all their attention on spotting creatures away from the noise.
And finally, there's the Captain's quarters where the captain can rest and plot course.

"Oh wow, look at the guns on that thing! I bet it'll be a real monster magnet once it takes off. All sorts of dragons and wyverns and couatls and..."
Her guidebook opening to all sorts of pages as she babbles on about flying beasts, Liliana boards the ship, heading straight to the crow's nest for a better view of the surrounding sky and the things that inhabit it.
After getting assigned to the sailor's quarters you climb up the crow's nest. (14) The sky is pretty bland aside from a few birds.

"Know where crafty shop es? Need new tools. Came here for good tools to crafty-crafty good gun. Go bang bang real nice."
The bartender takes you outside and points you towards the gunsmith's forge and then goes back in again.

Try to negotiate my wages
(1+1) (Ouch....) You look like the type who would keel over as soon as some piece of wood hits you, I'm not quite sure I like you, I don't think I will be paying you at all until I know you can be at least somewhat useful on this ship.

Well I got the update done on a weekend.

Hey, it's alive!

Head to my quarters and lay out my mapping equipment and other belongings before finding the navigator. Ask him where we are heading, and if he keeps records of dragon attacks.
