Who would be interested in a forum game which has the same mechanics as this, but is set in Mengalir's past (before the golden age of walled off monsters and etcera.) And has a wider choice for races and has a class system?

You just want to get out out of the mess you made with airships, but I am interested.

I am willing to have airship combat skipped for the most part, and only handle situations such as boarding.

They have to come from somewhere! Where do their eggs come from? They couldn't fly for four hundred years and not become extinct! There has to be something, and I'll prove it someday!

"Hey, don't just ignore me! I'm trying to start a conversation here."
Liliana's voice drops from a frantic yell to an exasperated whisper the moment that she steps through the library's threshold. Gotta keep quiet in a library, after all.
"Ugh, history? You're not worth talking to anyways. I don't see why anybody would focus on the past, when they can do something to change the future. Speaking of which..."
Reaching into the depths of her labcoat, Liliana pulls out a large book, titled Collected Theses on Monstrous Biology, by Marcus Vordenstrom, and sets it on the front desk.
"I'm looking to return this, and maybe pick up a copy of Sagus' Field Guide to Airborne Monstrosities."

((Speaking of biology, what exactly is combat dissection meant to do?))

((I'm not even sure. I suppose it'd be like the 'steal' skill in most rpgs, except the objects being stolen are claws, skin, and sometimes even organs. Or, if that doesn't work, then it could be a bonus to critical hits.))

"Study the past as much as you want, we're still going to make the same mistakes unless we understand the scientific principles behind them."

((Proper update coming later, just want to get this out of the way.))

Ask to join the guild.
No, some random stranger comes up to me, tells me he wants to use my hunters to fight pirates, and when I turn him down he suddenly asks to join the guild! I don't even know your name!

((Sorry, lots of noise around the house and playing new games.))

((I'm not going to lie and say I'll get the update out tomorrow, it'll more likely come on the weekend, if it comes before that then horay! Early update! But it probably won't.))

Thorgrim frowns at Harvey's request, then decides to ignore it.
"Me and the lad are looking for some honest work. I'd prefer a spot in the grease pits, no idea what the kid does for a living."
(15-1) "You sure the lad is looking for honest work? Oh well, there's always work to be done on the airships, report down to the mechanic's workshop down at the docks."

Ashala speaks to the dwarf before walking on, "Thank you, kind sir."
Walk through the door way and close the door behind me, walk to the cell farthest away from the door and judge the prisoner there, what would his/her crime be?
(20) You go over there, it's a Human, he's in his mid-40's, his clothes are made with fine material but is tattered, there's a sign on the cell bars, Dexter Scovel:Multiple charges of murder, theft, piracy, destruction of personal property, hijacking. Sentence:Execution. There's also a paper note nailed onto it, with cruder hand writing and numbers on it crossed out.
Days until execution:2

Oh, hey there. He bows, Pirate Lord Scovel at your service madam.

"Hey, don't just ignore me! I'm trying to start a conversation here."

He takes the book and puts it under the desk. (20) (Something's gone wrong with this generator, expect a lot of ones next round.) He looks at you for a while, a minute passes by, and another one, finally he speaks.

For reasons I will not explain, I want you to have this.
He hands you a book that can't hold more than 30 or so pages.
Don't be fooled by it's size, it is Omaric's complete mobile dictionary to creatures of flight. it is magically enchanted to hold all of the knowledge in such small size, if you mention a flying creature's name or description then it's entry will be on the first page, keep it. Permanent 3+ to fighting or talking about flying creatures obtained.

(17) I'll get for you. He disappears for a moment, and returns, he hands you the book. Here.

Ashala returns his bow with one of her own.
"Hello, I am Ashala Valessa, murderer of this city's lesser known residents, you wouldn't happen to have an airship would you? I wouldn't mind breaking you out if you would let me join you in your "adventures", money isn't a problem."

A murderer? Piracy is a business, not entertainment, still, suppose it'll have to do.

Any half decent Pirate Lord isn't stupid enough to think he won't get captured, he makes a plan for escape, I do have have a airship with a small crew ready for launch in a warehouse in the docks, how do you plan to get through the Golems though?

You take a look around, there's 4 Golems including a noticeably differently equipped "master Golem" with the word "Jailmaster" inscribed on it's head.

Reserving?

Depends on when I can expect your character sheet, though I'm not exactly being swamped in player joining requests so it probably won't matter if I let you reserve or not.

"Oh, ooooh, leave it to me, I'll see what I can do, but you may need to follow my act."

Walk up to the dwarven guard up at the entrance and use my miraculous charisma to get Scovel released.
"Hey you! Yes, you! I was going to get married to my fiance today and then I find out that you had carted my soon to be husband and maybe father away and tossed him into a cell because "He looks like that pirate lord", he only looks like that pirate lord, that is no reason to keep him locked up and executed! I won't have it! You let him out of that cell right now or I will sue the pants off of everyone in this building for incompetence and arresting the wrong person and ruining my wedding day and all those other things!" Stamp my foot onto the floor for extra emphasis.
(7-5+1) (5- for being suspicious.) Oh really? Well that's strange 'cause me and the people who captured him never told anyone he was here, and I was there when we boarded his ship and captured him, and he is known for getting people to break him out!

The Golems begin moving closer to you.

I think you better leave.

Spoiler: Doctor Nemo Alvarez (click to show/hide)

I'm going to sleep now.

Alright, sheet checks out.

Intimidate/Threaten the dwarf.
"Now just one second here! You are one big fat liar! He was sleeping downstairs in my very own household, and the next thing I knew he was gone! I even saw the damage you dirtbags made! Now you let him go right now, or I will bring the court down on you so hard that your great-great-grandkids wouldn't be able to pay off your debts! When word gets out that a fat dwarf kidnapped a poor woman's fiance before their wedding day who do you think the public will side with?! For the last time, release. My. Fiance. NOW!"
(8-2+1) (NPC's have personalities, if you rub these the wrong way then it'll incur a minor penalty and might cause NPC's to react differently then other NPC's would in the same situation.) Calling me a liar are you!? I was there when he killed my brother Thelran! Simply shot him and kicked him over as if he was nothing! I should kill you where you stand! NOW GET OUT!
