How do I use picture fort?

I have it from the lazy newb pack, and it doesn't work for me.

This is an exceptional golden figurine of a Peregrine Falcon. All Maltese craftsmanship is of the highest quality. It is studded with Baguette-cut diamonds. It is covered in black lacquer. The item is a masterfully designed image of a pointed cross. The pointed cross is the symbol of the Knights Hospitaller.

Ok, I think I made a mistake. Which application let's me see a 3d render of my fort?

Fortress Overseer, though I don't know if it works for 40.11, or indeed for 40.xx at all. There should be a forum topic somewhere.
I think there used to be another 3D render visualizer, but I forgot the name, and I don't think it has been updated in a long time.

If you mean "isometric" when you say "3D render":
Stonesense and Isoworld. Both have threads in the utility forum. Both need DFhack to connect to Dwarf Fortress (Fortress Overseer does too, I'd wager), so they only work with 40.10 until a new DFhack version is released.

CLA - an ASCII-like Graphic Pack with simplified letter-like creature graphics. The simple and clean looks of ASCII with distinct creature graphics - best of both worlds!
