Oh, I missed the part about not able to even uninstall.  Sorry about that.
You can uninstall btw.

Steam just calls it : "Delete Local content".

Ye usually that and uninstalling are two separate things, but neither of those options appear for me. Must double-check though and figure out exactly what items won't go away.

You can always get something like Revo Uninstaller. It'll thoroughly remove them (up to the registry deep stuff), and you can pick and choose what files to keep, if need be. It's not a bad option to have available. But yeah, Delete Local Content is the main uninstall option within Steam. Kinda peculiar that that wouldn't have an uninstall option. Is it from Steam, or is any of it a shortcut added to Steam?

If he can't even uninstall them he's missing a few bricks, something is seriously wrong with that, what I assume is that he has f2p games stuck in his library even if they're uninstalled, ready to be re-installed at the slightest flag in his willpower. If that's the case, he can click the steam wallet amount in the upper right corner of his application, right next to 'GUNINANRUNIN's account', that'll take him to a page with his liscenses and subscriptions, where he can remove f2p games such as dota 2.

That did the trick. Thanks for the help!

Now it’s easy to listen to your music collection while you play games on Steam.

Uhh... valve... dear.... I think all this steamboxing and console talk has gotten to your heads. Steam ususally runs on pc. It already IS easy to listen to my music collection when I play games on steam.

Certain things I can never get off my library once I've downloaded them, like dota2 and a couple beta games. No option to uninstall or delete them when I right-click. Will give more deets if necessary when I'm at home.
Skyrim HD patch.

I actually like the addition. A lot of games don't really support tabbing out, at least not without crapping themselves, and the thing about this being integrated with Steam is that you have the controls for the music player in the Steam overlay, which does work without said crapping out.

The actual problem with it is that it works based on tags, not folders, so if your tags are messy - as some of mine are - so will the selection, at least until you make a playlist.

Way I figure it, I keep steam running in the background anyway, so if I don't have to start another process to play my music, more power to them.

While we're wishing, how about a way to search things by a custom price tag? I can't tell how many times I've had 1 dollar left over from a purchase, and had to trawl through the 5$ games just to find one I -COULD- buy.
This gives you the listing of all games only, on PC, in English, starting from the cheapest. Note that under the new system there is no way to exclude free to play games or unreleased games that have not yet had a price set so you have to jump forward 12 pages.

The main thing that is missing from the new system is the ability to set a tag as something to exclude, not include.
