Well, I'm definitely signing up.

As for the maps, I'll vote for map 2. If I remember correctly, the first game also had the dwarves nearing extinction. If that doesn't work, map 3 looks good. Being crowded means less travel time, right?

"Mutagen"! Such a lovely word! I simply MUST have more mutagen!

*sigh* I can't believe I play this game...

After some thought, I’ll settle for world 3.

Dwarves on map two will likely be fine. They are still in a state where they should receive caravans and migrants, so after construction of a few fortresses they should be doing better.

I'm liking map 1. There's a lot of stuff and it looks pretty. How did you manage to make the center warm and the edges cold? Is that a new option?

I used perfectworldDF for all of the maps. It gives you much more control over worldgen, and you can do many things that are not possible without it.

I definitely recommend checking it out.

I read this thread a few weeks ago and really liked the concept. Very intrigued to see it getting a revival!

I'll put my vote down for world 2. A long history will be good for our museum!

Sign me up for a spot, also I vote for world 2. It has an interesting geography as well as plenty of history for us to hunt monsters and artifacts.

Thanks for the response, world two it is.
I'll scout for a suitable location for the museum, and will set up the game.

Here is a preliminary turn list.

There were quite some people who claimed they wanted to play before I opened up the list for submissions, and I've added them as well, even though I've had no recent responses. (I've only considered posts since the first of februari, which was the first time I mentioned starting this up again)

1 : Bralbaard (will introduce the museum, and have a small adventure)
2 : Ionmatrix
3 : 9joseph9
4 : Imic
5 : Emilovich
6 : Dwarvenlord
7 : Quantumdrop
8 : Timeless Bob
9 : Th4dwArfY1
10: Eric Blank

Not sure if Superdorf and Pikachu17 want to join? both never clearly stated so.  Did I forget anyone else?

Sure, toss me onto the turnlist! Might yield the slot if I change my mind later.
