The clan shield is red with a yellow cross and a black x on it

Isnt this one of those shitty p2w money-milking games?

Yup, but then again, all of them are, even the ones where you pay for the base game.

I found it fun up to the point where it was just grind or pay money to advance on any appreciable time scale. My rule for freemium games in general is as follows:

When I get to the point that playing the game is so tedious, I'd rather spend money to negate it, I uninstall the game. Then and there. No exceptions. Clash hit this point fairly quickly.

It prevents me from bleeding my bank dry from the death of a thousand $0.99 payments to a glorified psychology experiment.

Evolution: Battle for Utopia is a bit more fun for a freemium game, and I don't feel the urge to pay money to advance, since all resources can be gotten rather frequently, including the freemium currency. I have enjoyed myself thoroughly, and feel like sending some money to them as gratitude for a well designed game, rather than a dressed up skinner box. There was a bit of frustration in early game, but it's a game I poke at work on occasion, rather than anything else. Players can't steal resources from you, and you have to actually play the game to get resources, as passive generation is only useful after leaving it alone for a while.

I guess the game hasn't hit that point yet, though I'm rather passive and not active on it and just keep myself in the lower trophie levels and wait till my resources are high to do anything

The only boring thing I find in the game is being in a bad or almost empty clan

Never played it, and I never will, but it's weird. They ran a massive ad campaign for at least a month on various Canadian television channels. I remember thinking how strange it was that a shitty generic freemium game had the money to run such long and detailed ad campaigns.

Me too.  My roommate plays it(doesn't spend money though).  I wish I had a magic button that would electrocute the developers of every game like this everytime somebody makes a purchase.

Eh, they're not so bad that I wish bodily harm on the developers.

I've been playing Galaxy Legends on the iPad, and overall it was a fun experience, but with these sort of games, I also have a point at which my subconscious just can't put up with the time sink anymore. It doesn't matter if I'm only spending fifteen minutes a day playing, at a certain point I just say to myself 'nope, not going to play this any longer.'

Amusingly, I just hit that point five minutes ago. At least I had the enjoyment of being one of the highest ranked free players on the server while it lasted. :D

So it should, 'freemium' or 'pay to win' games shouldn't be given airtime or respect.

I dont pay them money, mostly cause its a waste.
Its not a terrible game at first, I will agree it sucks once you get to where i am now but its a fun ride to that point
