I use lead to make goblets and sell them to the Elves. Let the bastards die slow painful deaths from trading their fruits, berries, and tamed animals for my more 'ethical' works.

Yup, that's what I did the last time I had a fort with lots of Galena. Goblets for the elves.

Have them killed. Nothing solves a problem quite as effectively as simply having it killed.

Maybe they add radiation or something... then your radioactive dwarves can be buried in lead coffins so they don't contaminate everything.

Yeah, the radiation comes from standing in the sun too long and will infect other dwarves with sun burn

A series of retracting lead bridges overlapping eachother, with approximately 5z's between them. Once a pressure plate is activated, a series of timers gets activated. The first bridge retracts, goblins hit the other one (receiving minor wounds), then that bridge retracts, the goblins hit the next one, etc...

Because why give them the satisfaction of a clean (and terrifying) death of falling 30+z's, when they can fall a moderate distance several times! And the bridges being lead should significantly help the lethality of this amusement.

This might not be as much of a vengeance as you think. The Romans knew all about lead toxicity and yet they still decided to make wine pots out of it because it apparently improved the flavor. Assuming elves and humans have similar tastebuds, you might just be giving them a convenient way to enjoy their river spirits more than they already did.

That's the kind of badassness we like in DF! :)
