I don't post much, but the forums I'm even slightly active in I have a huge passion for.

In regards to DF, I've been playing for almost 8 years, since the earliest of editions, love this game.

HALE'S OWN STRANGE AUSTRALIUM MK 2 CARBONIUM BOTKILLER PROFESSIONAL KILLSTREAK FLAMETHROWER

tf2 lets you put so much swag (it's the only appropriate word, really) on your weapons.

the experimental MIRV in fallout 3 is also completely hilarious.

E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy for standard firearm
The B.O.S.C.O Really 911, a .308 bullpup semi-automatic sniper rifle with a built-in sound suppression system. With high damage, silence, and a decent scope it has everything I want in a standard weapon.

Windforge
The Steel Grinder, It's supposed to be for mining but works brilliantly against other airships. It turns the game into Sky Bumper Cars.

Two Worlds 2
The entire magic system. Spells are crafted from cards and you can do some beautifully crazy things with the right combinations. Some spells can split into other spells to make fractal fireballs or summon several allies with a single spell. Some spells rely on the physics engine and let you summon a tornado of anvils or have a shell of flying stones. It also has a few of the more basic spells that I like, such as water walking, restore stamina, or invisibility.

Hotline Miami
The "throw weapon" button lets you throw any weapon at any time. Out of shells? Shotgun to the face!

Star Ruler
The shield bomb. It weaponizes a ship's shields by rapidly expanding them outward and letting them impact on enemy ships. It hits everything in range and cannot miss or be dodged. It also works against planets.

Special mention goes to the hookshot/clawshot/grappling hook/"every other name it has ever gone by". Not just the ones in Zelda games, all of the grappling thingies. I love you guys, especially when I can use two of you at once.

I don't think I can think of one single absolute favorite, but I know which weapons are my faves in the context of just the game they're in.

EYE: Divine Cybermancy:  This little fucker.

Cawadoody Modern Warfare:  The FAL.  I like singleshot weapons like that, and it had that sick-ass reload animation.  It's a shame I'm such a shit shot and can't properly use them.

Jaykin Bacon: Episode 2:  I've never actually played, but it's a real tossup between the handgun and the scoped knife.

Warband: One of the games I actually play regularly!  In Native Multiplayer, I love:  The Vaegir's Long Hafted Knobbed Polearm;  The Nord's Great Long Axe; the Sarranid's Plated Quarterstaff; the Rhodok's Glaive and Poleaxe and the Swadian's Voulge and Rapier.

River City Ransom:  Trash can best.

Star Ruler (Galactic Armory):  Torpedoes best.  Stick them on a million billion little bombers and swarm your enemies with rapidly-produced fighters from any planet, no standing defense fleets needed.

FTL:  It's a tossup between delicious rapidfire ions and the glorious firebomb.  CREW DEATHS, MAXIMUM SCRAP.

Dark Souls:  I played some piddly wuss thief, but I really love giant weapons.  Axe or hammer slightly preferable over swords, but Zweihander pretty sexy.  In 2, I actually built properly for how I played, and stomped all the things with the Great Club.

Space Station 13:  Fire extinguisher best.

Shadowrun Returns:  Drones best.

Datajack:  I think I had the... Jehrico?  Some pistol, heavy rounds, 16 bullets, but I put a silencer and modified it to take bigger ammo, and it carried me pretty much the entire game.  Essentially -completely- silent, but still enough punch to (eventually) put down a cyborg trooper.

Mass Effect:  MIINNNDDD BULLETS.  If those don't count though I really loved the heavy pistols.

DE:HR:  Taser best.

In shooters I generally prefer a shotgun, because as mentioned, my aim is ass.  I also like taking a huge machine gun, though.  In games where my personal aim isn't a problem, like Jagged Alliance, Silent Storm, or X-com, I like weapons with long ranges, though, because I can usually cheese the AI by sniping them.

I liked the shotgun in Soldier of Fortune 2.  Most shotguns in videogames have like no range at all which isn't realistic.  Go watch some trap shooting if you want a real idea of a shotgun's range.

So you've got the good range and obviously the gore in the game makes it feel really meaty.
