Ganron nods and the group all eventually go to sleep with Bill and Arsolf keeping watch.

Surprisingly, nothing further occurred during the night. The group [minus Bill] all awoke at Dawn. Ganron and Arsolf had apparently awoken before the group though it appears Arsolf had never quite gone to sleep judging by the bags under his eyes. "Good. You're awake. Let's..." Arsolf paused to shake his head vigorously "Let's get going..." he says as he climbs onto the raft.

Almost as soon as you finish the circle a black crane crashes into the circle and a three headed dog appears to begin devouring it. A few moments of discourse [2+8] prove that there is always risk when binding vestiges. It's obvious you've made a poor pact.

The ritual finishes not long after as you make the pact. YOu realize that your voice is now very gravelly. Yet, despite making a poor deal, you feel rather clever.

Galia is about to step onto the raft when she realizes something.

This could be her last shot at hypnotizing Ganron before they got to Lakeview. She decides to take it and approaches Ganron, speaking quietly with him.

"I doubt we'd be able to catch up to the raft eagerly, so if you want to see any magic, perhaps try to check to see if you have the spark, we'll have to do it now."

Riki smirks at his spotless-clean crossbow and slings it around his back.
"Weather's lovely these parts, I tell you."

Bill uses Disguise Self on himself, to make him look less dead.
Returning to the group, his skin has a healthy glow, instead of the bone white shade it has previously.
"I'm ready."

"Well... Alright. But just for a few minutes."
"Great!"

Galia turns to Arsolf and puts on a roguish grin before asking him,

"Arsolf! The grass seems greener around here. Do you mind if Ganron and I enjoy the sights for a few minutes?"

Dereth mutters under his breath at Galia's continued display. He didn't understand why she thought this boy would be useful. He might be able to be trained, but they had little time for endeavours such as that; they needed to re-establish themselves, and quickly. The longer they waited, the less chance there was to find those bastards that had delayed his victory so long.

"Would anyone else like to take the raft? Or will Bill and I be traveling alone?"

The only response Arsolf gives to Galia's question is a small snore. The old man seems to have fallen asleep on the raft. You do note that he has apparently taken a purposeful position in the center of the raft.

"C'mon, let's go now! You go ahead and find the thickest trees you can, I'll catch up."

After he leaves, Galia turns to her companions.

"If Arsolf asks, we went off on another walk."

Galia suddenly realizes that her repeated excursions probably mean little or nothing to her companions, at least after the initial joking.

"I... I know that it's probably a little annoying how I've been heading off with him. But I swear, this will pay off someday. Just watch."

Ilandrinal remains in Draconic.  "This is getting kind of pointless.  Bill, you and I could be halfway there by now.  Should we just start walking now, and see if they catch up at Lakeview?"

"It's about 65 miles away. Should take us 9 hours, putting us in town by nightfall. You ready to hustle?"

"That's pushing it too hard.  I can manage hustling for about 4 hours, and then walk the rest of the way."
