After Harmony's 'explanation', 'Billbo' relaxes. He was a little mortified that uncomfortable questions might come up, questions that he'd be honor bound to answer truthfully. As soon as Arsolf turns his back, 'Billbo' flashes Harmony a grateful look.
"I hope she doesn't corrupt him too much. She's a bit of a mankiller, wouldn't you say, Arana?"

'Arana' adopts a wry expression.

"She does like to wrap them around her finger, doesn't she?"

"Oh? O-okay. What do you need me to do?"
"You'll take part? Great! Just one second, I need to get ready."

Galia heads a little way away, out of Ganron's sight, and with a whispered word, casts Eagle's Splendor on herself. Save DCs for spells are now 2 higher. For the purposes of what's about to happen, the DC is 18.

She returns to Ganron, her voice more seductive, her general appeal greater, her spells more potent. She sits down next to him again and faces him.

"Alright, I just need you to relaaaaax..."

Galia makes a pulling motion from Ganron to herself, trying to send him into a stupor.

Hypnotism!

"She does like to wrap them around her finger, doesn't she?"

Arsolf chuckles to himself "So my boy's in for a treat eh? Heheheheh ah... To be young again."

Hypnotism!

Ganron blushes as he sees Galia return. It takes her a couple of seconds to get him to actually focus on her [4] but once he does it works like a charm, literally, as he becomes glassy eyed and obviously complacent.

"Excellent, excellent... Ganron, you will not mind any more if I cast spells on you."

Before he awakens, Galia moves over and sort of picks up Ganron, situating her folded legs under him and cradling him in her arms, as though he had fallen unconscious.

"Awaken."

Riki chuckles at Galia.
"You always have your tricks, Galia. Remember that time you put a spell on a person, right before I sent a bolt straight between their eyes?"

"Wh-what happened?"

"I think your friend is... Maladjusted. Is he um... Part Troll perchance? They've been gone for some time now." Arsolf leans close to Harmony to avoid offending Riki with his question.

Harmony leans in close, lowering her voice and looking suddenly grave.

"Accident on stage, I'm afraid. Fell of the high rope and conked his head so hard even the clerics couldn't fix him properly, never was quite right since. He thinks he's some kind of assassin, poor soul, keeps trying to poison things that aren't there with water-coated knives. Really quite sad, couldn't have happened to a better man."

"Wh-what happened?"
"It... it went... wrong. I was going to show you something really impressive, but... I guess that it misfired. Oh well. We shouldn't worry on the matter, right? Your father is probably worrying, we should head back."

"Yeah, I've heard of stuff like that happening."

"Yeah. We want to get somewhat farther down the river anyways... Thanks for showing me what you could though. I really appreciate it."

A few moments later the two groups met back up. The very first thing out of Arsolf's mouth was "There's m'boy! How'd ya do?"

"We just walked father..." Ganron says with a small blush.

"Well... That is a shame. Anyway if it's all the same to you folks I'd like to get moving. We want to be in Lakeview a few days from now."

Galia gives Arsolf a roguish grin, trying to send home the idea that they had done what he had implied.

"Yeah, we ought to get going."

Galia boards the craft and sits quietly on the deck. She flips through her notebook and begins writing a bit, smiling slightly for having begun the conquest of a new person's mind.

Dereth, meanwhile, has been sitting calmly on the shore, legs crossed, sword across his lap, watching patiently, and meditating, tensing each muscle before relaxing it fully, trying to gauge his remaining strength.

Once he's finished with this, however, he begins to carry the group's things onto the ferry, and stow them how he can. As he does so, he quietly taps each member of their band on the shoulder and informs them of the location of their belongings.
