"Don't worry, I know what to do."

Galia turns to the captain.

"Arsolf! Ganron and I want to take a quick walk before we set off. Feel our feet upon the ground one more time before we leave, you know?"

The old man seems to have a small twinkle in his eyes "Oh yes. 'Take a walk' eh? Go right on ahead my boy. Show your new friend some nice sights. But be careful and stay within shouting distance."

Ganron seems highly embarrassed about all of this though you get the feeling that this isn't an odd happening.

Harmony gestures in an emphatic shrug of incredulity.

"Why ever you would want to go for a walk here is beyond me, sister. Rather poor ground you chose for feeling out, eh?"

"Oh let the kids have their fun. If they want to 'take a walk' I say let them. Never know when a bear might end you. Better enjoy what you can eh?"

"OK, thanks!"

Galia turns back to Ganron.

"Let's go!"

Where's the most obscured area nearby? Any boulders of sufficient size, or perhaps particularly dense trees?

"Wise words, wise words. You want me to ask Billbo along for you, in case any of those bears show up? It's really quite inconsiderate of you to not think that he might want to stretch his legs a bit as well."

Arsolf seems to be rather amused by the whole situation "I'm sure they'll be fine. No need to burden the young ones eh? Or... Are you not seeing what's happening?"

You seem to recall a large thicket of burnt out trees that are several minutes walk from the boat. Plenty obscured while still within shouting distance.

Thus, you lead Ganron to this small thicket after, of course, his dad bids him to "Make me proud!

Galia whispers to Ganron.

"There was a nice thicket of burnt trees we passed on the way here. They won't see us over there."

"And you don't want to do what your father is suggesting, right? Just so we're clear?"

"Oh kind sir, what are you trying to imply?"

Ganron blushes as he gestures for you to lead the way "I just want to see magic. I swear."

"Oh kind sir, what are you trying to imply?"

Arsolf waits for several moments, just long enough for his son to be out of earshot, before replying "My son's not exactly the most comfortable boy around women. I want grandchildren. I figure a little egging on might jumpstart the process."

"Good. I am certainly not in the mood for having children. Anyway, c'mon!"

Galia leads Ganron along for a bit, making sure to imply that they are headed off for what Arsolf implied until he was out of earshot. Once they reach the thicket, Galia finds a good spot to sit on her knees and start off by amusing Ganron with Prestidigitation.

"Ready to see some magic? This is one of the easiest spells I know, but it's a great party trick."

Galia finds a twig or a rock or something, whatever small object is handy, and prepares to cast a spell.

Ganron watches intently as Galia performs her party tricks. When he sees her pick up a small pebble he seems confused but remains silent.

"Here goes."

Galia raises her other hand under the one holding the pebble, as though about to do something wild with it. Abruptly, she flicks her wrist, casting Prestidigitation in the process, producing a small wooden heart in her hand.

She tosses the stone into her other hand and smiles.

"Thoughts?"

"Wow, that's pretty impressive! What else can you do?" Ganron says as he smiles broadly. You get the feeling that he's never actually seen magic before.

"Lots. Here, let me show you another."

Galia uses Prestidigitation quickly heats the heart to the point of combustion and tosses it into the air just as it starts to burn-- the net effect is that it looks like she's just tossed it into fire.

"This one is neat, too."

Galia reaches for her belt and removes the pouch from it. She sets it on the ground in front of her.

"Watch. No strings, nothing." Galia indicates that there are no strings between her hands and the pouch. With a whispered word and a dramatic raising of her hands over the pouch, she causes the pouch to slowly levitate into the air. She moves one of her hands underneath the levitating bag and allows it to drop into her hand.

"That was fun, but it was nothing. I have an even better one, but I'll need your help for it."
