Plius leads you through the prison until the small group of three arrives at Glin's cell. As promised the gnome seems much quieter than he was yesterday. In fact, the second that the group enters his field of view he ceases his silent staring and instead focuses on Bill without blinking. "Well, well... It certainly took you long enough."

[My Name is Immaterial]

"Could you give us a bit of space, Plius? Thank you."
Once the guard is leaving, Bill responds. "I had more important things to do than talk to you. But you already knew that, didn't you. Who am I talking to? Glin, or a child?"

[Nerjin]

"A child? Your child would be more precise, Father."

[My Name is Immaterial]

"You are no child of mine. I was like a midwife that helped Jake deliver you. Now, tell me: how could you interfere with the binding yesterday?"
Bill turns to his companions, and asks "Could I borrow a waterskin for a moment?"

[Tawa]

"Uh. Sure?"

Galia hands Bill her waterskin.

[Nerjin]

"It was child's play really. Though, I'm afraid, it isn't anything you could ever learn to do."

"Thank you, Galia." Bill drips some water in a circle about five feet across.
"Humor me; I'm a Binder. Knowing how vestiges operate is my job."

[Nerjin]

"And just why would I do that? You're looking for a way to circumvent my abilities. What sort of person gives someone assistance in defeating themselves?"

"I don't even know if I want to defeat you. What's your end game?"

[Nerjin]

"You're attempting to find a way to get around my interferences. As for an end game... Well you'll find out soon enough."

[Tawa]

"Glin? What, exactly, do you mean by 'we'll find out soon enough'?"

[Nerjin]

"I meant what I said."

[Tawa]

"Ah, damn. Figured it was worth a shot."

"Bill... what're you doing?"

Dereth steps up to the gate.

"Is the body you are currently in important to these plans? Either way, I would be interested in knowing why I shouldn't kill it, just to be safe."

His sword is at the gnome's throat before anyone can truly react.

Glin's features seem inordinarily calm despite the situation "Please, you saw what I did when Mother attempted to simply share my toy. What do you think will happen if you break it, Dereth?"
