[Will: 3+5] "I... Could have sworn... Bah, must be my imagination. A long night of patrol will do that to a man."

[Tawa]

"Oh, that's alright. It happens to me plenty. Don't feel bad."

And, so, with the crisis averted, Galia continues with her nefarious plan. She stares deeply into the guard's eyes.

"You know, at times like these, you should really just relaaaaaax...

As the original plan called for, Hypnotism!

[Nerjin]

[HD Affected: 3+1][Will Save: 4+0] "Yes... I should... relax..."

[Tawa]

Galia smiles evilly. She's still got it, even if it's been a year.

"Good, good... from now on, you will be as helpful to me as possible."

[Nerjin]

"I'll try... Seems just fine..."

[Remuthra]

Harmony floats slowly up directly behind Galia, grinning.

"Ooh, is this some sort of magic trick?"

[Tawa]

Turning to the appearing-from-nowhere Harmony, Galia half-whispers, half-shouts, "You know damned well I'll be dead weight in those caves of hell. I'm getting a stand-in."

Turning away from Harmony, Galia snaps her fingers in the guard's face. "Hey! Buddy? You still there? You said you'd help my friends investigate the catacombs, remember?"

[Nerjin]

"Investigate the catacombs that would be foolish without... A task force! Of course! I knew the captain was paying attention during my spars. Of course I'll help. I'll get a promotion for this!"

[Tawa]

"Good. Go on, I'll meet you there. I need a private word with my associate here, anyway."

Galia waits until the guard leaves.

[Remuthra]

Harmony tosses her knife between her hands idly, hovering at eye level.

[Nerjin]

With Galia and Harmony

The guard nods and leaves, likely dreaming of glory.


Outside the Catacombs

"So um... What exactly will be down there?" Ganron asks as he runs his hand over his knife.

[Tawa]

Galia speaks to Harmony, coolly but firmly.

"So. Harmony. Ganron told me you two are going to be training together. Normally, this would be a problem, because we clearly don't like each other and want the same man... for different reasons, albeit."

"But I think we should work together. With you honing his body, and I stealing his mind, we can mold him into the perfect slave. All we have to do is work together. Do we have a deal?"

[Remuthra]

(In a low voice, so as not to attract attention)
"Ah, 'tis the question, is it not? I could shape his mind as I liked, without help, but no, it shall be more...entertaining to watch what may come, before the play is over and the actors gone. I accept your offer. Truce, so long as the boy lives."

The compromise accepted, Harmony deftly twists her knife, drawing a shallow cut across her palm, before extending it to shake.

[Tawa]

Figuring that doing the same would be etiquette in such a case, Galia draws a knife from an... unlikely place in her dress, Galia slits her own hand and shakes, trusting that Harmony hasn't coated her palm with some deadly poison she's built an immunity to or anything.

"B...blood s... sisters?"

She was not used to pain of any sort, what with being the type of person who gets others to do the fighting for her.

[Remuthra]

Harmony's grin widens.

"They say blood is what counts, after all."

She releases the shake and starts absentmindedly licking her palm.
