Hmmm.

Derek decides to keep tabs on the stores within the city, and tries to see what other rumors have been going on outside the city acting every part the well-armed traveller, in search of his fame and fortune through tourneys and provings. However, he's ben unfortunately delayed from a debilitating injury, and doesn't quite know what's been going on lately, so any news would be much welcomed...and friends do favors for each other, right?

Gold greases palms better than any oil, and loosens tongues more than any pain.

[Nerjin]

As the sun starts to set the groups continue their activities.

The Floating Dwarf

As Rikki [in disguise] and Harmony [in disguise] sip at their drinks and as Illandrial [in disguise] makes to head outside Galia walks in, followed in short order by Ganron who appears to be saying "I want to be with you for now. I'll find father in the morning."

Funny that.

Outside the Catacombs

"Of course Master. I can't wait to learn from you again. Perhaps you should accompany me to the inn? I get free room there since I'm protecting the town from a horde of undead. I know you don't sleep but it would keep you out of the rain."

Outside the Sovereign Jester

Well it would appear that a man by the name of "Derek" has been proclaiming himself the greatest fencer in the realm and has been performing duels outside the Sovereign Jester to the delight of the crowd.

Another rumor indicates that a group of heroes have been looking into a cure for the Blightlands as of late.

You also hear tales that a vampire was spotted in town recently but judging by the fact that the many who is telling this rumor has a stick witht he word "Magic" scratched into it and appears to be insane you would do well to be skeptical of that advice.

The only other interesting rumor is that the mayor's mistress has gone missing.

"That's very kind of you, but I must refuse. It would not be proper for the two of us to share a room. I will give you your privacy. When your trance is over, come down and find me. There are some secrets best taught in the dead of night."
Bill follows Zoe to the inn, and waits in the pub, ordering a pint Pulsch brown ale, nursing it very slowly. After some time, he asks for a bottle of Frenzy Water.

[Remuthra]

Harmony covertly listens in.

[Tawa]

Galia turns to Ganron for a moment.

"Well... alright, I guess that's fine."

Galia decides she'll stay a while and at least get something to drink and eat, figuring it'd be cheap enough for her here. She takes a seat at the bar and orders a glass of wine. In the meantime, she scans the other patrons of the inn for her companions.

[Nerjin]

Galia: You don't see anyone for quite some time. Until, of course, about twenty minutes later when Bill and Zoe walked in. Bill ordering a drink of some sort. You didn't quite here.


Bill: Walking in with Zoe you order your drinks. The keep gives them to you around 16 gold total. Granted, your Frenzy Water came in a bottle so it's likely a good amount.

However, he seems rather annoyed that you would ask for that sort of thing.

[Tawa]

Galia quickly gets up and walks over to Bill. She whispers in his ear,

"You seen the others?"

Bill doesn't even look up from his drink.
"No, I hadn't. I didn't really want to; it's my time off. I don't care what you all get up to during it, as long as you're at the catacombs, ready to help in the morning."

[Tawa]

"Fair enough."

Galia returns to her previous seat.

[Nerjin]

To the citizens who were awake at the crack of dawn, which is very few in such a city where most people begin their work later in the morning, they would have seen a large crowd of people gathering outside of the catacombs. To the party, however, the only strange thing was that there were two extra people today. Both Zoe and, oddly, Ganron were also preparing to head into the dungeon. Still, they knew that if they had any last minute preparations now would be the time.

[Nerjin]

Wait a second... What WAS Galia? Ganron was here... So where was his soon to be master?


With Galia

[Will Save: 20+0] Well... This wasn't good. The guard you had attempted to, ahem, convince to join your group in their descent had not just resisted the spell but realized you had tried it in the first place "Stop right there Criminal scum!" the guard commands the second your spell fails "Nobody breaks the law on my watch. Now it's off to jail with you. We can do this the easy way or the hard way."

[Tawa]

"What? No! I wasn't trying to--"

Even though she knows it only has roughly a 50/50 chance, Galia casts Charm Person again.
