Bill mentally commands the skeleton to follow him, and ascends once more. Once the exit is in sight, tell it to stop and leaves.

It does as you command. Upon entering the light you're somewhat bemused to see the commoner boy hanging around once again. As well as the rest of the group.

Bill nods to the boy warily, and searches for a clothing store or cheap tailor that sells a long, full-body robe, with a full, face-covering hood. Once this item has been procured legally, at a fair price, he returns to the catacombs and puts it on the skeleton.
Poking his head out once more, "Tomorrow morning, first level of the catacombs, Ladies, Gentlemen. I can only take 5 total, including me."
Timeskip until the morning.

You find one that appears very ratty though without any holes that would stop someone from noticing a skeleton under it for the low price of 5 sp. Apparently, poor looking robes rarely sell. In fact, you get a bargain of having two given to y ou. One in faded red and the other in black. Or at least, you assume they are different colors as the black one has several patches of faded red.

"Well, thank you."
Bill puts them both on the skeleton, one on top of the other.

Well damn... This skeleton looks pretty decent in the double robe. How delightful!

Galia announces to the group, seemingly to nobody in particular, and puts her arm around Ganron's shoulders.

"Well, I don't know about you all, but Ganron and I are going to go head to the inn, rest for the night. Right, Ganron?"

Galia smiles cheerfully at Ganron.

How many ghouls were there on floor five?

You saw around twenty. Two groups of ten.

Ganron seems to smile nervously at this "Well uh... I should really go back to father but um... I'm sure he's busy with his friends."

Ilandrinal leaves the group, and attempts to Gather Information (without tipping anyone off) about the criminal underculture of Lakeview.

Galia grabs Ganron's arm and runs off with him to the nearest inn that isn't aimed at commoners or the poor.

It takes a while but you eventually learn that there is a small, but thriving, thieves guild. From what you understand they closely monitor the number of members to keep competition low. Those who have attempted to cross the guild in the past have met unsavory ends. Strangely, none of the guards seem to be taking bribes. The guild manages to remain unseen through pure skill alone.

Galia grabs Ganron's arm and runs off with him to the nearest inn that isn't aimed at commoners or the poor.

You head to a nearby inn, The Sovereign Jester, which appears to be rather upscale though it's oddly close to The Floating Dwarf. The chairs and tables are aranged in a large circle with the center containing the bar itself. Near the northern end, opposite of where you entered, you see a door labeled "Rooms". The bar-tender appears to be a large rotund man with balding hair and a marvelous mustache. He seems somewhat annoyed that such rabble as Ganron would enter. The young man is obviously a peasant at best. He seems a bit more warm towards you though.

Get in contact with the thieve's guild.  Inquire about their thoughts on the origin of the undead.

Any attempts to inquire about the thieves guild is met with nervous stammers and people claiming to have somewhere else to be. After quite some time has passed a small gnome knocks into you "Excuse me sir, you dropped this note. Good day."

Well... That's strange, but you're not dumb. You know what just happened. The note is your 'in' to the thieves guild. Still, why go with such a transparent scheme? Seemed lazy. Still, the note read:

Quote from: The Note
You've been asking around about a thieves guild we've heard. They don't exist around here. So stop asking. But if they did exist, they probably don't know anything. But if they did know something they might tell you for gold. But they don't exist. And since they don't exist, if you tell the tender of The Floating Dwarf that he looks like a Dragon, he won't be willing to answer your questions. Eldrix. Drop the paper. Now.

What? [Reflex: 20+7] The fire starts flaming as you toss it down. A second later it is consumed by a small explosion. Well, you have pretty good memory so you'll likely be able to remember the instructions. Almost as if you still had the note.

Find an open window, climb into it, hide, and when sure noone is watching, Disguise.  +4 check.  Doublecheck the quality of the Disguise (using a mirror or pool of water if available), then (if I'm able to check the quality and if the check is over 16 or if I'm not able to check the quality) go to the Floating Dwarf and scope out the place.
