"Well, we could probably make it there by sundown.  We'd make better time by road, but you might require a few touchups to make that discrete.  Let's get going.  We'll make adjustments if necessary."

Begin hustling towards Lakeview at a rate of 80 feet per round.

Galia heads away from her enigmatically speaking companions at a slow pace. While she walks, she decides that the needs of the group are more important than getting up to her old tricks in the middle of nowhere. She heads back to her allies, hopefully before Bill and Ilandirnal get moving.

"Hey, um, I think I'll just quit messing with Ganron. We need to get to Lakeview as a top priority, and I can't keep sidetracking us just to get back into the feel of my old routine."

A few minutes later Galia wanders off to fetch Ganron. When he return with her he seems a little let down "Okay so um... Are we *Cough* taking the raft or walking?"

"Let's take the raft. It'll be faster."

SUDDENLY two pleasant days of travel passed with nothing much of interest occurring. Though Arsolf seemed to be worried to near death about the safety of his son and was the first to leave the raft when the group reached a decent mooring sight. It was a short walk from the river to Lakeview. Just from the outside you can tell that this is a moderately affluental village. You assume it is due to the fact that it is so near the river and thus in good position for trade goods. The bustling crowds of villagers would be a sight to see. Were it not for the large wall surrounding the village itself.

Two guards in gleaming chainmail armor take note of your group and seem almost bored as they debate eachother.

"It's your turn Gabbro." Said the Shorter of the two.

"Oh c'mon! I did the last two in a row Porter." the Taller said in a nasally voice.

"I'll flip a copper for it."

"Of fine."

By now the group was very close by, just within shouting distance.

"Alright, Monarch I win, Crest you lose."

"Okay, go."

The copper was flipped. The group couldn't see the result but the short one announced the result in a small laugh.

"Crest. You lose."

"Damn it! This happens every time... Alright..." Turning towards your group you notice that he is a somewhat attractive man though obviously none-to-bright "Welcome to Lakeview. Due to recent issues we must ask your group a few questions. Do you have any relatives in Lakeview? If so, what are there names?"

Judging by his tone of voice he doesn't really care about the answer.

"I can't tell you."

"They'll find out sooner or later. If we tell them now they can just leave. Or come inside."

"Oh fine. There've been sighting of undead in the catacombs beneath the city."

"Really? The dead walk beneath the city?"

Galia warily casts a glance at Bill. No matter how much she had seen him, the idea of dead people in a perverse facsimile of life never ceased to frighten her a tad.

"Anyway, I'm Liaga Erynrochil. I'm from a long way to the east, so I don't know anybody in Lakeview, let alone be family with them."
