"It helps that I have quite the assistant." Rhos once more rubs her collar and Alaura would tell that something is now standing beside her.

Rhos looks around waiting for something to happen. She had been expecting something to happen for a while now. A gut feeling if you will.

People stop to look at the group. After all of their adventures, it would make sense for them to gather at least some fame. Children are tugging onto their mothers' shirts and pointing in wonder - even in this faint ghost of a town, tainted by unhappiness from the Mournland.

Rhos sighs and attempts to hide her face, to no avail.

Alaura looks to see if she can recognize the others coming to assault the crypt, she notices the drow standing somehwat obviously,

she does not reach out to shake hands but instead looks slightly to the left of her eyes and says

"Hi, I'm Alaura of the Moonfang clan, I assume you are here to assault to crypt as well?"

Saverna, for her part, seemed entirely oblivious to the attention of the others, until Alaura's approach and question drew her attention.  "Ah?"  She cocked her head slightly to one side as she smiled absently, giving off a rather faintly scatterbrained air.  "Ummm, yes, actually.  Err, that is, assuming you mean the Crypt of Doom.  And, ummm, well, not some other crypt, like, you know...I'm not sure."  Even as she was speaking, she simultaneously tried to place the newcomer's species: shifter, she decided after a moment; a human-lycanthrope hybrid.  Hunted almost to extinction by the local authorities of this continent quite some time ago, and thus very rare to find outside of their wilderness homes.  Silly of the Silver Flame, really, but it did mean that this one would likely be quite tough, whether ally or adversary.  "S-sorry, I let myself get a trifle distracted."  She shook her head slightly, as though to clear the cobwebs, but still smiling in that same distant way.  "I am Saverna Til'Roshan; pleased to meet you."

"Ah, yes, that's good, of course.  Umm..." she trailed off slightly, as Alaura seemed to show no sign of elaborating further.  "So, then, you're traveling there alone, or as part of a group?"

Rhos appears to be keeping her face covered from prying eyes, but it doesn't seem to be working.

"I see, I see.  Well," she said, looking off slightly at nothing in particular, finger raised to her lips as she considered, "I was thinking I'd need to head there alone since so few local folk are willing to risk the Mournland, but that's always pretty dangerous.  If you and she don't mind, it might be safer to go together."

"Fair query, that.  Well, I fancy myself a dab hand at alchemy," she said, tapping the vials on the bandolier and belt with a finger, still looking off as though checking off some mental list.  "I can also use a tiny bit of magic, and I dabble with traps a bit, enough to get by.  I, ah, do know enough to make the effort on my own."  She glanced directly at Alaura, then past her at the kobold whose name she still didn't know, who seemed to be trying to shrink into her own shadow.  "But, you know, I know a little bit about a lot of things, but I don't know what you two can do."
