Nerjin? May I use the Duelist feats from before, with some slight changes I'd like to run by you?
I'd like to make it a three-feat progression, with Duelist, Improved Duelist, and Greater Duelist. Possibly with side-feats such as Parrying Expert or something.
Duelist would require Weapon Finesse, Dodge, and Dex 15, and would give a +2 Dodge bonus to AC and a +1 comptence bonus to hit while wielding only one weapon in one hand and no shield, in addition to being able to add your Dexterity bonus instead of your Strength to melee damage rolls.
Improved Duelist would require Duelist, +6 BAB, and Dex 17, and would give another +2 Dodge bonus and +1 to hit while wielding only one weapon in one hand and no shield, and would also improve the critical rating or multiplier (don't know which one you'd rather, if not both) any weapons that can be Weapon Finessed that you wield by +1(rapier becomes 17-20 or 18-20/x3 handaxe becomes 19-20/x3 or x4)
Greater Duelist would require Improved Duelist, +11 BAB, and Dex 19, and would give another +2 Dodge bonus, and +1 to hit, as well as being able to parry attacks or something. I don't know. Much leas sure on this one. That or something akin to Flurry of Blows, I think(+1 extra attack at highest bonus while making fullattack and the whole one weapon no shield thing)
Also, more or less unrelated, but can Swordsages get Adaptive Style as a bonus feat? It's practically required for them, and if it isn't a bonus feat it's basically a feat tax(which is why they're typically considered the weakest of the ToB classes, in addition to their lower BAB).
And will Keen and Improved Critical be stacking?
Just trying to find ways to make my character concept work(the concept being a frighteningly competent swordsman, one whose never lost a straight-up duel - ever. Crossbows work just fine, as does treachery, or brute force, though. Still scary.)
If I can't go for Duelist, I might change a bit and go for Kukri Kritfisher with Blood in the Water, which I think suits an evil party (oh I'll just go charge up a bit by slaughtering civilians, brb) fairly well, too.
