Heh. Is the party entirely composed of sneaky types?

I think some political machinations are in our future.
Oh, you're all going to loooove one of my class features...

Hey tawa, fifth level is 15000 XP. Ignore that, I can't read.

If everyone has an extra feat, grab Tomb-Tainted Soul. As a DN, I have a touch attack that channels negative energy, which I can use to heal people,
Bleh. If I wanted to lock out Positive Energy Healing, I'd take Necropolitan.
Which, come to think of it, would fix that whole "can't breath air" issue...

I call dibs on brainwash-y grifter.

"So, vizier Dauriel, could you rhesagn*-- ahem, resign from office?"
*Note: verbal component of Suggestion completed
Taw, are you planning Leadership?
Depends on the needs of the party.

I can probably get by with my enchantment spells, but if we want a new army we might need something more than reprogramming hobos and orphans.

PROS and CONS of LEADERSHIP
+ Less labor-intensive
+ Fits general theme of the game being about villains building a dark empire
+ I keep my spells per day
- Takes a feat slot
- Could interfere with game
- Attracting followers has negative impact if you're evil

PROS and CONS of ENCHANTING
+ Minions are more loyal
+ Will interfere with game less
+ Not affected by evil-ness
- Not as reliable
- Labor intensive
- If I screw up we could get an angry mob that's a lot larger than ten feet by ten feet

Topic of start: I suggest that our characters were trying to perform a ritual akin to "HASTUR HASTUR HASTUR" or casting FATAL, but these heroes arrived in the nick of time and *almost* killed us.

SUGGESTION: Sister prequel campaign involving an all-good party "killing" us the first time; party of prequel campaign doubles as those we seek revenge on here.

Which is better - light crossbows or heavy ones?

I... Could do another game actually. I'd have to ax "The Hero League" but... It could be highly interesting. I dunno though...

In that case, I'll save my flaw to take Undead Leadership next level.
I'm going to frown at the apocalypse spell idea. If we're putting all this effort into making an empire, why are we destroying it?

While I have no problem with you doing that I should mention that if you send orphan children into a fight I will not hesitate to kill them. Realism and that. If you're against being responsible for the pretend murder of pretend children maybe you shouldn't do that.

That being said I have no moral quandries here. A evil game and all that.

My suggestion with the loss was that we were trying to channel negative energy (for nefarious purposes, perhaps trying to taint every paladin on the continent or something) and due to insufficient divination-blockers the heroes got lucky and attacked us in the middle of it. This resulted in a magical accident which consumed the spell's caster, our former seventh member, and caused a release of destructive magical energies which resulted in the collapse of the Tower of Evil and the corruption of the surrounding area with wild magical radiation, which is why it's marked "blightlands".

Neither. But if you must take one, light.

MNII: You have a point. A very good point.

* Tawarochir facepalms

* Tawarochir digs through his brain

I've got it!

New proposal: we were trying to create explosives, with the plan of showcasing our awesome power by annihilating a major city, or at least holding it at ransom with the equivalent of a magic nuke. The heroes arrived during development, and a sharpshooter-type or evoker wizard got a lucky shot at the bomb, destroying the tower... and all of our minions. And our notes.

Thoughts?

Alternatively, the summoning thing could be an "I was summoning him so I could kill him" deal; some nasty demon or something was threatening to destroy the world before we could take it over, so we decided to summon it and crush it so our plans would be uninterrupted. The heroes didn't even let us finish the summoning part.

Also, Remuthninja's idea was slick.

Also also, nenrjin: Darn. Looks like orphan babies will have to do. :P But more seriously, perhaps we could ambush some mercenaries on the side of the road...

I'm thinking I can replace two of my Swashbuckler levels with Avenging Executioner for maximum hijinks.

Is that permissible?
Wait, attack bonus restrictions. This shall be my first Prestige class instead.

Keep in mind that I'm a heartless bastard towards children. So if you want them to contribute to combat it's entirely possible that they will be stabbed in the chest.

Also it's Nerjin Tawa... Not Nenjin. We've never even been on the same thread.

@Remuthra That sounds just fine to me when you have the BAB neccesary.

Dammit.

One letter differences (and, in this case, it's almost the same shape, too) are a stumbling block. The 'never posted in the same thread' kinda amplifies it, too. :P Will fix.

Anyway, I'll just be waiting to start.

Indeed, so shall I, minus obsessive character tweaks.
