You can use a single skill point to buy off Illiterate, yes, but that applies to all languages you know, and isn't really putting them into Speak Language as such.

Sheet is mostly-sorta-finished, except Myth-Weavers won't cooperate on my pathetic mobile internet browser, so I'll have the sheet up tomorrow morning/afternoon.

My strategy will basically be one of debilitating opponents using a combination of Enchantment and Illusion spells, then heading in and driving previously concealed knives into their faces. Depending on the disposition and grouping of the opponent(s), I could cast Sleep or Color Spray, drop them on the spot, and be done with it, Charm [Person] them and get my mitts on information, use Trip Sequence Hypnotic Pattern to get them to stand there like dolts staring at the pretty lights while the melee-ers sneak up and kill them, use Daze to rob their actions if there's only like 1 enemy, use Touch of Idiocy if they get close and bring down their mental capabilities, or use Hypnosis for various diabolical purposes.

Damn, playing an enchanter is going to be fun. Screwing around with peoples' heads sounds pretty entertaining.

I've got a Dread Necromancer 1/Binder 1/Anima Mage 3 in the works.
I'm using Precocious Apprentice and Improved Binding to get up to second level on the binding and casting, along with Apprentice to get Knowledge (Planes).
Before I can post anything, I need the ruling on how LA/tier stuff works.

Really? Apprentice? Given just how tiny an amount of gold-worth we start with, a feat that costs you 400gp seems like a potential problem...

Well, the fluff of this game says that the heroes stole most of our wealth, so I'd figure that I'd have already paid for that.
It's up to Nerjin.

Hm... I may have bitten off more than I can chew here. Eh, I'll learn on the go.

@Remuthra
Next question: How much would a fake set of full plate cost me?

Um... What?

@Harbinger
Hey, Nerjin, would it be possible to take a few things from Dragon 306? Specifically, Deep-Dweller and Spark (page 62-65).
Also, if I could, I'd like to grab this feat, which seems to be homebrew but isn't particularly powerful. Alternatively, if I could buy a permanent, preferably slotless version of the Talisman of Adaption from the same Dragon Magazine, that would work too. Better even.

I'm gonna say no to the feat. But if you're dead-set on being amphibious there will be opportunities for that. As for the Dragon Magazine stuff it won't load for me. Could you just type out what it does? Sorry for the inconvenience.

@TealNinja
Drawing up my character (using the Spellwarped template (here), and Wood Elf (Monster Manual, subrace of Elf).  However, I've run into a conundrum; I don't know Undercommon, and being evil, it's expected I'd know it.  So can I swap it into my list of bonus languages from Intelligence?

Edit: Also, health rolls.

Seem fine. Just remember you have to be Tier 4 or lower to use that due to LA adjustment, plust whatever the woodelf has. You can have Undercommon if you sacrifice 2 skill points.

@Immaterial

Nerjin, how does this class tier to LA thing work if we have multiple classes?

# of tiers = T, C=Class.    (C1+C2+...Cx)/T=+LA Adjustment.

I dunno. Seems fair to me. Just add up the tiers, divide by the number of classes you have. Boom, LA adjustment.

You paid for it slightly before getting your ass kicked. Congratulations!

I want to disguise my padded armor to look like full plate. Is that covered under the Aesthetic Discretion Clause of the PHB, or do I need to pay extra for that?

Rogue snipers ftw. With poison crits and really high attack bonuses. And rapid shot.

Um... You'd need to do a glamour thing or something similar. The discrepency between padded and full plate is just too much. Feel free to buy magical stuff too by the way.

But for now, she is accepted. Also, Harmony the Evil Pixie. I find this most humorous.

Edit: You need to put a token in the additional information, give a brief description of how she feels about her allies, and maybe a line or two regarding personality. But that stuff is minor I suppose so I'll accept her into the game anyways.
