The tension aboard the ship is palpable as Erik begins to cut through the hull of the alien craft. After an agonizing minute of working the torch back and forth across the ship, a man-sized hunk of metal breaks free. He pulls the slab into the troop bay, and the interior of the alien ship is revealed. The interior decoration is remarkably similar to that of the downed craft, with the main difference being that the nauseatingly blue lights are all on this time. The hallway appears to run to the left and the right of the breach, with a door directly opposite your ship. No frogmen are visible, but they could easily be waiting just out of sight and behind cover.

((I'm trying to break away from the awkward second-person narrative. Tell me which style you like better.))
