Aira walked over to Lidia and slung an arm around the girl.

"Sorry bout sticking my hand over your mouth like that in the middle of battle. But really, I figured this group would be more used to getting attacked. You holding up ok?"

[Parsely]

Lidia let's Aira put her arm on her shoulder but starts waving her arms in the air when she's reminded of her brush with pain.

: I'm never okay with being stabbed, I don't ever want to get used to being stabbed, cause I don't ever want to be stabbed 'kay?

Lidia sniffs and then very quickly tries to look tough.

: But yes I'm fine now!

[Swordstar]

"Aww, fair enough."

She gave Lidia a squeeze.

"Well the stabbing is done for now, but next time just stay behind me. I'll burn 'em up before they can get to you, ok?"

[Parsely]

Lidia gets squeezed and she's surprised to notice just how strong Aira is. Now it's Lidia's turn to give her a squeeze.

: Wow girl why you so fit.

: Don't let em' get so gods darned close next time! But yeah sure I trust a strong girl like you to protect me.

She grinned wryly.

[Swordstar]

Aira raised an eyebrow and grinned.

"Oh, I'm so sorry that I let them get too close. I'll do my best to make sure that doesn't happen anymore. As for why I'm so fit... Well, it pays to be in good shape, even if you're a mage. I'm sure you could use some training, wouldn't you say? Maybe pick up a weapon in case someone gets too close again? After all, I'm good but I can't take on an entire army. Though I'd try for you. Gotta keep the healer safe, right?"

[Parsely]

: Yeah we gotta keep me safe! I die you die, that's how this works.

Lidia's tone is perfectly serious but the gag is betrayed by the deliberately goofy look on her face.

: Hey wait a minute what are you trying to imply! I'm trim as all hell, I'm just not cut like you!

Lidia demonstrates by flexing.

: Rrrrrr-! See, no muscle at all. But hey, I'd be more than happy for you to give me a workout.
