But when that character dies, I won't let you reuse it.

So? I can create just as powerful a character using other templates. Or I could play a bard, or a pixie monk.

In fact, I actually handicapped myself with the kobold race.

I've decided to glare at you because the Feral template doesn't make any sense when combined with a Monk.
Quote from: Feral's description
Feral creatures were once civilized but have now sunk into a primitive, barbarous state. Though they are generally found deep in the harsh wilderness, feral creatures occasionally wander into more civilized areas. Some eventually adapt, but most consider “civilization” too confining. Feral creatures appear larger, tougher, and meaner than their more sophisticated cousins. Their feral nature tends to be obvious from their pronounced fangs and claws. They speak the same languages as the base creatures from which they were derived.
I personally think Feral creatures should be incapable of achieving the mental discipline required for becoming a monk.
I've said my piece, but I hope that Private Nomad takes note of this.

He has a point. No feral monks.

Is there any recommended place for me to find all this info?

Google. Seriously, most of the .pdfs are online (not that I'm encouraging piracy, NSA), and then there's D&D Tools, which hosts most of the info anyway!

Kobolds aren't primitive and barbarous by nature?

Besides, class alignment restrictions are kind of stupid in general. Most of them restrict character concepts by enforcing generic fantasy tropes.

Uh...... No? Dude, there's fluff and rules in the books. They're totally civilized. LE, in fact.

Huh, kobolds tend towards Lawful Evil? They have a tribal society similar to Orcs.

Blast, I don't want to have to rebuild my character to bypass alignment restrictions.

Wait, how does level adjustment work? Can I use a +4 LA race for a level five limit?

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Huh, kobolds tend towards Lawful Evil? They have a tribal society similar to Orcs.
Quote from: Wikipedia: Kobold (Dungeons & Dragons), Society
Kobold society is influenced by their lawful evil alignment. They will plan and dig mines industriously, while laying cruel traps for interlopers. If they must confront an enemy, they will mass their troops for an ambush. Among the monstrous humanoids, they are known for cunning plans; unlike many, they also share those plans among the tribe. General plans and goals are common knowledge, and detailed plans are shared with all who ask, to allow them to work fruitfully for the good of the tribe. Kobolds have a natural hatred of other non-draconic creatures because of mistreatment of their race.

Kobolds have specialized laborers, yet the majority of kobolds are miners. The most coveted careers are trapmaker, sorcerer, caretaker, and warrior. Kobolds typically apprentice in their chosen profession at the age of three. A kobold's job may change over the years based on the needs of the tribe. Kobold tribes are gerontocracies, ruled by their eldest member, who is known as the All-Watcher. Often this leader is a powerful sorcerer. Kobold laws may change along with their leaders. Kobolds prefer exile to execution, and in some disputes, kobolds tribes will split in order to spread their kind over a larger region. Kobolds often lay eggs in a common nest, with specialized foster parents to watch over the eggs and wyrmlings (young under one year).

Kobold society is tribal with war bands based on clans. As many as ten families can be part of a clan. Each clan is responsible for patrolling a ten-mile radius. The most numerous kobold tribes include the Torturers, the Impalers, the Gougers, the Cripplers, and the Mutilators.

If you take a class of tier 5 or 6, you can ignore 1 unit of Level Advancement per level in said classes.
There, set my class to ex-monk. That work?
But how would you have gotten monk in the first place? Feral is something you're born with.
