[D&d 3.5e] Eberron: The Crypt of Doom [5/5]
« on: August 28, 2014, 06:58:00 pm »

IC Thread

Note: This game will be HARD. You may rage, you may cry, you will die - but know that the horrors that lie within the Crypt of Doom are unspeakable. It is easily has hard as the Tomb of Horrors. Don't expect your characters to be permanent.
Okay, now for the fun stuff.
This game will be played in the Eberron game setting, which many people love. As I said, this game is hard - making it ideal for testing character concepts!
Now, let us begin.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

YES

YES MUCH

I WANT TO DIE

I HAVE NEVER LOST A DND CHARACTER BEFORE

IN IN IN

Ahem.

I believe that I am thoroughly experienced to partake in this.

Also, we will mostly be in this Crypt, right? 'cause I am not exceedingly familiar with Eberron.

Can we do the Pathfinder thing for cantrips?

Because it's silly, if you ask me, how a wizard can only use Prestidigitation once per day.

I'd be in.
Question: if it will be hard, will you allow some silliness in character creation? I have a monk build I've been wanting to try for a while.

HP rolls.

I'm planning a combat-oriented wizard, see, so HP will be highly important.

Do low tier classes get free LA?
Edit: Alright, I've got my build plan, if monks get free LA.
Level 1: Water Orc Monk.
Level 2: Monk.
Level 3: Monk/Spellwarped (LA+3 template).
Level 4: Monk/Mineral Warrior (LA+1 template)/Elemental Creature (Earth) (LA+0 template).
Level 5: Monk/Thomil (LA+1 template).
Edit 2: Are Flaws okay?

Well, I'm going to be the cleric/healbot if nobody's going to do that, otherwise the big meatshield guy.

Also, my Cleric is gonna be an Aasimar. Since it's only LA+1 and we're starting at level 5, I have a question; are we doing LA buyoff and could I have already done that starting out?

Looking at my +8 Natural AC, my 22 Con and my 30 Str, I think I have meatshield covered.
Templates have turned me into a rock that can do martial arts. I ain't even joking.
