Edit: Would it be too much cheese if I took a couple flaws and gained Craft Magic Arms and Armor, and Craft Wondrous item?
Yes.

I think he means that since you take flaws at level 1, I would be violating the feat acquirement rules since a char start, I don't have caster level 5 for that. I'm actually not sure why I asked in the first place, to be honest

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Oh, right. I was assuming you'd be using the flaws to take other feats which you then wouldn't take at the later levels.

I guess I got a little carried away when he said yes to craft points, which makes crafting magic shit MUCH easier. Oh BTW, remember EVERYONE gets craft points(even if you don't take a craft feat(which crafting masterwork items under this system requires), you can assist someone untrained by contributing craft points 1/2). For 5th level chars we all get 1500 craft points(it works out that each level you gain craft points of 1x char level, which adds to your current total)

You don't have to spend feats as soon as you get them, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Hmm, I think I'm done.

So what your saying Tryrar is that my character has 1500 craft points for use in Trapmaking?

Hmm, if you're making Masterwork traps, yeah(remember to take the Craft Masterwork Traps feat). Normal non-masterwork or magical items don't need craft points, just craft checks.

So basically I should take Craft Masterwork Traps feat at a later level?

This is of course implying that you'll survive before you get to craft anything.

What happens if we just sort of leave the dungeon?

Does the magic involve avoiding death by DM sadism?
