The price is calculated on the fly. Generic hacksaws are pretty shitty as weapons, I guess this is why the game makes them so cheap. A chainsaw will be a better axe-skill weapon.
Makes sense that a hacksaw wouldn't be a good weapon. I suspect that [SIZE] and [MATERIAL_SIZE] have the most effect on weapon values; increasing hacksaw size from 20 to 100 changes the value from 4 to 12. This would explain the cost of pickaxes as well; they're easily the largest melee weapon at 2500.
An interesting note is that a steel pickaxe weighs 19 urists, a steel spear weighs 3 urists, and a hacksaw weighs less than one. Perhaps we could simulate slow and powerful ranged weapons by making them very large and heavy, reducing the speed of the creature carrying it?

Thanks, I will make sure to fix it all. As I said the creatures were mostly ported over from Fallout mod, which explains the direct references to Fallout lore. Also it explains the typos. I am not a perfect english speaker/user now, and back then I had a worse knowledge of the english :).
Not a problem. I used to proofread fanfiction, so I'm used to working with people who have English as a secondary language. I can assure you from direct experience I wouldn't be any better ;p

You can simply copy the /data/ and /raw/ files over. Make sure to empty the original /raw/ folder first. Also I am almost done with Beta2, so bear with me a few hours.

I see a lot of the mutant plants like broc flowers, mushrooms, and the "evil" plants were removed. Will they be put back in?

Beta 2 release:
- Changed Brotherhood noble positions.
- Fixed some typos and grammar mistakes (thanks Ruludos).
- Added cave/tundra moss.
- Added program icon (top left corner, most likely nobody will notice it, hehe).

i just started playing with the mod is pretty fun, in the stockpile menu for seeds there is two entries for albino wheat and normal wheat, is that intended?
