I will be busy with moving into and getting settled in college for the next week or two. I will do my best to help BD finish his sheet ASAP.

I'm having a hard time dealing with homework right now, so I'm putting this and all of my other games on the back burner. I don't want to do this, but I want to say it so there's no question about it. Sorry! As soon as I can, I'll bring it back.

It's FATAL. The only question is "Why didn't you dump it earlier".

Then you get cities like Paris where you should basically just kill yourself already.

You won’t have to think anymore: it’ll be just like having fun!

One question, why not (also) mod fatal on dwarf fortress.

Read again some parts and saw that under directly sunlight, on fatal, the dwarf turn into stone and dies. This is 'FUN'.

It is one thing to suggest that F.A.T.A.L. is the Dwarf Fortress of RPGs, but diametrically opposed.
It is another thing to suggest that we pollute DF with F.A.T.A.L.

Plus most of what makes FATAL... 'enjoyable'1 is its crazy rules and character generation, not it's horrible setting. Porting FATAL to DF would just cause it to lose most of its... 'charm'2.

1. Enjoyable in the sense that we enjoy mocking it, as opposed to actually playing the damned thing.
2. Which is to say if FATAL had half-decent rules it wouldn't be the highly mocked system that it currently is. Yeah it's still racist, sexist, and a bunch of other -ists, but it's the combination of terrible system, terrible creator and terrible setting that makes FATAL the perfect storm of enjoyable shit. Remove everything except the setting and it simply wouldn't be enjoyable1.

I guess I could give it a shot. And then just go to a psychiatrist for the rest of my life.

Or you could be a psychiatrist character, and level up by having 5000 sessions with clients you role play out.
