[Blade Master Model 42]

"No bet." Saresh said quietly, his eyes focused on Kya's swordplay. "The axe is an excellent weapon in many situations. One on one against a swordsman, or woman in this case, is not one of them."

Taking a step back, Kya once again placed her sword in the way of the axe, stopping it against the guard of her new sword. Grinning, she started to swing again, aiming this time for the woman's other side, once again with the flat of her blade.

Klasha narrowed her eyes - and her grin widened - as the sword came in. Instead of attempting to block, she stepped forward inside the weapon arc and headbutted Kya square on the nose.

"Too obvious!"

Saya watches the unorthodox tactic.
: "Of course, surprises can happen."

: "And it was mostly a joke. I don't really have anything to bet, due to the group sharing our gold, other than my weapons, armor, or Xavier."

The pegasus bumps Saya at the last bit.

Stumbling back slightly, Kya twisted and kicked Klasha in the stomach. If the other woman was going to fight dirty, she may as well too. Backing up more and letting go of the sword with one hand, she felt her nose long enough to feel the blood coming out and acknowledged it was likely broken. Returning her hand to her blade, she settled back in for the next attack.

The boot collided heavily with Klasha's ribs, being too close to evade, and Klasha too staggered back a step. The axe being too lethal to swing and too unwieldy to try to use none-lethally, Klasha let it drop and physically hurled herself at her opponent, planning to bowl her over with momentum and sheer ferocity.

Quickly stepping to the side, Kya stuck her foot out and sent Klasha sprawling to the ground. Placing the tip of her blade at the bandit's throat, Kya grinned.

"You have good fighting skills but you can't let your control get away from you like that. But that duel made one thing certain. You will be a valuable asset to our team."

She lowered the blade and offered the other woman a hand up.

Saresh shrugged. "There's always something to bet. I've known soldiers to bet chores in a game of cards." Saresh visibly relaxed as the sparring match came to an end.

[Twinwolf]

: "Should somebody get a healer? Lady Kya appears to have broken her nose, and I can not imagine Klasha is totally uninjured."

[GiglameshDespair]

"Heh heh." She grasped the offered arm and climbed to her feet. "Get you next time, boss."

[Swordstar]

Kya let go of the woman with a nod. Reaching up, she gently fiddled with her nose, and then placed both hands on her nose, grimaced, and then straightened it with a grinding of bones. Wincing slightly, she felt it again, and then turned to Saresh.

"Does that look better?"

Saresh moved closer to Kya, and leaned from one side to the other. "...Your nose appears to be as before, Commander. Though I would still recommend actual treatment."

Kautof watched this display of violence idly, before drawing the blade he'd taken earlier, and inspecting it more closely.

It should do...

"Horseman! Or...Saresh, was it? Have you a sword yet?"

"Indeed I do." Saresh held out the Iron Blade with the point facing the ground. "It will serve me well, I'm sure."

"Then I believe a test of it's abilities are in order. A duel between...warriors? Or is it gentlemen?"
