Not to my knowledge. Although certain Dwarves (Nobles) demand a certain 'level' of room to be happy. So you need to Smooth / Engrave it and fill it with certain types of furniture (Armour Stands, Cabinets) You can see if they need something by pressing 'n' I believe, and exploring around that menu.
