"Be on the lookout," Kalen instructs nobody in particular, "the foolish goon Isabelle let one get away up here. He could be lying in wait somewhere."

The shadow elf gestures to the corpses in the room, as well as their gear. "You may wish to arm yourself Blacksmith."

He then turns once more to the captured Bandit. "Which one sends the platform back down?"

Kalen sends the platform back down, once everybody else is clear of it, and he has instructions to do so, and then briefly keeps watch while the Ogre and the Blacksmith make whatever preperations they need to make for the treck back to town.

Vorot swaps his throwing axe for his hatchet as he drags the bandit off the platform.

The blacksmith heeds Kalen’s advice and reluctantly picks up a bloodied axe. He peers at the axe head, “Gotterbach?” The blacksmith gives the corpse a kick, suddenly more enthusiastic about the situation. “I hope you stole this overpriced scrap.”

The bandit tells Kalen that the lever on the far-left will send the elevator back down. Kalen pulls the lever after everyone has disembarked and quickly jumps off the rapidly descending platform.

In the rooms below, Isabelle heads back to the east door. She moves through the ajar doors, the space is just wide enough for one person to go through.
The room is filled with bodies.
The light from the door makes a perfect aisle through the centre of the room revealing at least eight bodies lying where they died. Of note is an abnormally large headless body, its body punctured by arrows and old wounds revealing the bones beneath. Behind the large body is a human corpse sitting in an oversized throne, something in the corpse’s hand catches the light.

"So this is what happened to you... Oh shit, I should tell the others that these guys were not just some bandits!"
Isabelle quickly runs over and inspects the thing first though.

Kalen carefully follows the Ogre out, keeping an eye open for trouble.

I'd be happy to play, if you still need players.

I think we are heading back to town, at least for a bit, so it may be a good time to join soon.

If you do have space for one more, I'd like to be a mage or a psion, using Ritual Path Magic or Psionic Powers.

Kalen and Vorot make their way back out of the cave, emerging into the sunlight with the blacksmith and the bandit. They don’t see anything unusual in the clearing or the surrounding forest.

Isabelle steps over the corpses and inspects the corpse on the throne. Clasped in his hand you see an iron amulet, strangely untouched by time. You can see that it is engraved but you can’t make out the detail given the poor light and the stretched, pale skin of the corpse holding it.

((Sure Angle. Just make a 100 point character and I’ll work you in when they reach the village.))

Alrght. Is it okay if I use Ritua Path Magic? Also, what's the disadvantage limit?

((Feel free to use RPM, I've got the pdf. Disadvantage limit is -60 points.))

LOL that's just what I'd started making my character at. I'd also like to use some of the stuff fro pyramid 3-66: The Laws of Magic, particularly the stuff for making limited RPM Magery.

Also, does lowering my will and perception relative to my IQ count against my Disad Limit? Like if I have IQ 14 and Will 12, does that count as -10 points of disadvantages?

Also, do you want to use the default RPM Lesser/Greater divide, or do you want to change it up a bit? One thing I might suggest is making obvious things like fireballs lesser effects, at least to a point.

Also also also, can I take Adjustable Spells (@Path Skill@) from pyramid 3-66 page 10? It would make my spells cost +1 energy per 10% in enhancements I add to spells using only paths I have the perk for, instead of +1 per 5%.

Unsure if the Ogre knows the way back, and  unwilling to risk his meal ticket in the Blacksmith any more than necessary, Kalen takes point in leading the group back to town.
