"Those blacksmiths have some protective capabilities, don't they?" Kalen asks dryly, "I wonder why anybody even bothers with shields."

He then turns to Vorot, and points at the last remaining bandit. "Break his arms, if you please. Lets not kill him yet though. I suspect the townsfolk would enjoy watching him suffer for a spell. Be mindful of that knife of his though."

Kalen then walks back to the elevator, and gestures for the Blacksmith to follow. "Lets get out of here. We have the Blacksmith. If they want us to clear the rest of this blasted cave system, I suspect we shall need some healing supplies and advanced payment."

Kalen investigates the elevator, to see if he can figure out how to make it go up. He doesn't press any buttons until everybody else is on the platform. He keeps his eye on the last bandit until it has been dealt with, on the off chance he gets the clever idea to throw the knife at Kalen.

Vorot drops Splitter and pulls off his cloak, readying it to throw it at the bandit.

Kalen walks back to the elevator and inspects the device. He sees a series of levers on the west side of the elevator but cannot see any indication of what any of them do.

Isabelle sits up and looks around.

The bandit takes a step backwards and grabs his other knife, holding it in his off-hand.

Kalen turns to the Blacksmith, and continues to try and gesture him over to the elevator.

Vorot throws his cloak at the bandit and ensnares him. He runs up to the bandit and grabs him.

The blacksmith notices Kalen gesturing to him and stands up before walking to the elevator.

Isabelle stands.

The bandit tries to stab at Vorot but is unable to freely move his arms.

Pick the bundle up and walk over to the elevator, If he struggle then punch him in hte gut.

If Kalen gets a straight answer, he presses the up button once everybody is on the elevator. He remains cautious on the ride up, both because of the presence of the struggling bandit, and because of the one that got away upstairs.

As Vorot walks over to the elevator the bandit continues to struggle. Vorot gives the bundle a punch and a pair of knives fall out. The bandit stops struggling.

"Which lever is 'up', bandit? If you answer wrong, I'm sure the Ogre will be glad to show you the bone breaking techniques of his people."

“It’s the lever on the far-right,” says the suddenly dejected bandit, “that’ll take us back up.”

Kalen smiles smugly and prepares to pull the lever.

Instead of staying on the elevator Isabelle walks towards the eastern door, clearly intent on the darkness beyond.

The blacksmith manages to pull off his gag but can’t untie the ropes binding his wrists.

(Isabelle is in  room made of finely carved stone moving towards the eastern door. To the south is a crude doorway leading to an elevator shaft. Vorot, Kalen, the backsmith, and the bandit are all on the elevator. To the east is a stone door, it is slightly ajar and the room beyond is unlit. To the west is another stone door, it is open and light can be seen in the passage beyond. )

Vorot set the bandit down and draw a throwing axe then try cut the black smith rope.

"Are you coming with us, or not, Dark One? We have their blacksmith. We can go back to town, get some reward to buy more supplies, restore whatever wounds you might have incured, and then come back for the rest of these fools."

Kalen pulls lever once/if Isabelle gets on the elevator.

Kalen nods. He wasn't about to argue this point, when leaving Isabelle behind meant more payment for him. "I'll send the Elevator back down for you." He adds. If what she heard was incoming hostiles, he doubted she would survive, but she was a decent enough Goon that Kalen wished to keep a cooridal relationship in case she did.

Pull the Lever. Keep guard up, especially when reaching the top.

Isabelle abandons the east door and instead checks the west door. This door is already fully and has something carved into it, it appears to be men carrying a large corpse. The corridor beyond is made of the same carved stone as the other room and at its end is another doorway, also open, revealing the setting sun. The only thing unusual about the room is a pair of eyeglasses sitting near the door. The eyeglasses’ frame is rusted and the lenses have been shattered.

Meanwhile, the rest of the party take the elevator to the upper rooms. On the way up, Vorot sets the bandit down and cuts the blacksmith’s bonds with his giant throwing axe. The blacksmith gives an uncertain “Thank you”, clearly unsure of his current company. The elevator soon reaches the room above.

(Isabelle is in  room made of finely carved stone, standing at the western door. To the south is a crude doorway leading to an elevator shaft. Vorot, Kalen, the backsmith, and the bandit are all on the elevator, which is currently at the room above. To the east of Isabelle is a stone door, it is slightly ajar and the room beyond is unlit. To the west is another stone door, through it Isabelle can see a similarly carved stone passage and a door beyond framing the setting sun. )
