That aspect does kind of make me wonder if it is real though.

For a while I thought we were starting to... kind of grow past the boob plate and fetish fighting gear.

It isn't KUF without it. I mean the dark elves, as I recall, basically go into battle wearing something akin to Leia's slave garment in Return of the Jedi. But with more metal thongs.

KUF has always been into super skimpy outfits on all the women. You can't just change the lore like that! It's clearly essential to the setting.

So apparently, what you guys want is this:

I'm not seeing any chainmail nipple pasties.

Pretty sure the dark elf women basically already wear that into battle. Though I admit, it has been ages since I played KUF, but I swear thats basically what they wear. Maybe with tassels.

Time to throw in my 2 cents. I eventually got the game working, although it takes awhile to patch with the proxy but by far the best one that works. Server pop is a bit low since there aren't many newcomers and actual players just use up their points for the day. I will be honest, the "tits in your face" mentality is horrendous as I was greeted with a 10 second boob shot when I just wanted to see the damn cutscene to know what the hell was going on. Got a bit awkward when my family walked by during it.  :o The gameplay is surprisingly very smooth even on the lowest graphic settings, it looks pretty damn nice. My only major complaint so far is the random CTDs I've been experiencing during a mission, making me restart the entire thing hoping it won't crash again. Hope when it arrives on Steam it is a bit more stable.
