Also, what design were we doing? Cobble and smoothstone stripes? Vertical or horizontal?

Horizontal smoothstone/stone brick stripes iirc.

EDIT: A guy named Andersenesred showed up on the Vault snitch log from yesterday. Anyone know who that is?

Uh, you might want to snip the coordinates from that image. There's not much of a point in keeping them out of the OP, otherwise.

Anders is from NW, I believe. He was scouting around to make a map a while back, and he's the one who gave us the horse.

Did anyone notice a pair of veridians stop by 2 days ago?
They showed up on the snitch in my bedroom and I had a chat to them, I wasn't particularly worried since Hantzu and Primoa vouched for them being ok but still, You guys should know that there's veridians basically wandering all over the place at the moment. In other news I have spent a few days over at gohKamikazi's city, found him a diamond vein (which was actually one his mates had tapped into a year ago, but 500 meter away, lol).

Looks like just signs left all over the place, but yeah....
edit: Oh and I'm making a cactus farm in the island south of Xiphas, it'll be 100x100 and very accessable from the Titan-Xiphas CIC line... so we should be set for xp potion production soon, I'll also point out that netherwart grows at half speed in mushroom biome, or 1/4 speed in desert biome, so I could make a wart farm there too but a mushroom biome near Titan  might be more useful, however I'm hoping to trade netherwart for cactus with gohkamikazi...

They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

I did, and I also PM'd Elephant before I posted the question. I want to make sure that I'm registered as a member and am given a position in the guard, since I'm pretty sure neither of those things happened last time.
1)You should be in the user name/forum name listing. Check the OP. That's the closest thing we have to a member list, at the moment. If you want to be added to the permissions, you'll need to talk to someone who has them.

Speaking of which, could I get a list of people with advanced permissions? It'll be easier to redirect people if I know who to redirect them to.

2)We don't currently have a formal military. That won't change until we've picked a constitution and established a government.

So, Titan and veridian have announced a union. Both cities are now the federation of Chanada.. 
I dud not see that coming, though I did forsee Kovio taking leadership of veridian.
