My personal preference is for Voxelmap.
I looked it up, but apparently it's been taken down by the author.

Huh.

Apparently, he's currently between file hosts.

What you can do is download the .litemod file, which is actually a .zip archive, just with a different extension.

I really wanted to use voxel map, but forge doesn't like me :(

So here's the thing:

Each layer of the cone is 2 blocks. Due to the shape of the cone, any kind of geometric pattern taller than that would probably be hard to see. So if we want to do a pattern, it should probably be alternating stripes of material (2 materials per layer). I suggest either top half of each layer cobble or stone brick, and bottom half smoothstone, with occasional chiseled brick mixed amongst the smoothstone if people want it.

Whatever design we use, since implementing any would take a lot of work, we should probably make mockups using MCedit to see how they would look.

Also, I think we shouldn't light the top cone, except for any small windows that people might dig. Without light, it would look like a giant bottomless void over our heads.

Good news, Marc.

I got in touch with Cynrh, and while he seemed slightly hostile to me, he said that you could get in touch with him about reparations for the iron forge you built just before we left.

That's good, I only need one stack more for a forge so if they can't afford it I don't want to push it.
So I was on my way to commonwealth to get sand and use their glass factory, when I came across a large group in chat talking about their new city, an old abandoned city.
Turns out they are from 4chan and have settled in stoneark. As I hang out in the area people constantly wander past looking for the promised land, there's dozens so far, a real invasion. They aren't hostile, but some of them might be trouble, just letting you guys know. The location is around -2000, 8000

Haven't been on for awhile but that sounds like trouble. Time to prepare ourselves for the 4chan horde that is inevitably coming.

Reading through the thread, I don't think we can expect any sort of organized attack, even if they find our base. We might get a few random vandals, at the most.

Also, insanegame27 wants the coordinates. He has 37 posts, and most of them seem to be in the Masterwork subforum. Should he be allowed in? Sorry for the double-post.

Thanks for the head's up Marc re: Stoneark.

If you guys need anything or have unresolved issues, please contact me directly, not through tahu.  (I will get your iron, M).  If anyone else has something left in a house PM me and I will try to get it returned (as far as the store room is concerned I think you guys have had sufficient return visits to it already to call that one even).

As for tahu, you will find my friendliness increase in direct proportion to you beginning to act like an adult and stop trying to stir up further shit with GM.

13 more posts and he'll be fine with me.

I uncovered some redstone in the mines. Should I just mine it, or is it worth mining with a ST pick?
